'V'-masked "March Against the Mainstream Media" activists protest at BBC Broadcasting House : London 16.11.2013
As part of a worldwide 'March Against the Mainstream media' campaign, activists wearing 'V' masks protested at BBC Broadcasting House against what they claim is overtly biased or non-existent reporting of large-scale public demonstrations by the state broadcaster, most noteably the huge demonstration in Manchester by over 50,000 trade unionists as the 2013 Conservative Party Conference was opened.

NHK meets Deep Space 8K offers a glimpse into the joint research project between the Ars Electronica Futurelab and NHK, Japan’s largest public broadcasting organization. They joined forces in 2017 to examine how 8K, the next generation of ultra-high definition TV technology, can be incorporated into daily life. The innovative broadcasting giant had already started creating and using 8K footage on a trial basis a year earlier, providing a resolution 16 times higher than Hi-Vision to its audience.

Overview of the broadcasting system that is going be to used to live stream the test launches by Copenhagen Suborbitals on July 26-29. The launches are going to take place at sea about 40 km East of Nexø, Bornholm, so we need to get the audio and video feeds literally from the middle of nowhere.

Several hundred people, some dressed up as Sesame Street characters, such as Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, rallied in front of the Capitol Saturday, Nov. 3 for the Million Puppet March, a demonstration held in support of public broadcasting.
