Back Garden - 2 females in the same area just over the hedge, they had a battle over who should take the usual perch, this one lost and was forced to come a little closer to me on the ladder (still room for them to come even nearer).

In its final days, 501170 stands at Broad Street Station in April 1985. Just in view on the left are some 2EPB units, which took over North London Line duties from the Class 501s. The station site was closed soon after to allow the site to be redeveloped.

I was going to pass on photographing this raptor, because I thought it was a Cooper's hawk. I've photographed them on numerous occasions. Still, I liked the bird's pose and the setting. I decided to capture a few images and move on. Turns out it was a broad-winged hawk, which is a species I had never photographed.

We had 8 or more broad-tailed hummingbirds at our campsite at Buffalo Campground, Pike National Forest, Colorado.

Hickling Broad Mill was built in 1860 and stopped working in 1905. In 1960 it was acquired by the renowned wildlife artist Roland Green who converted it to be used as a studio for his art work.

As a bonus a Marsh Harrier (or Buzzard?) flew into the shot.
