Foto: La ermita de nuestra Señora de la Blanca (o de la Atalaya), está dedicada a la Virgen Blanca de la que cuentan que fue encontrada en una cueva excavada por el mar. Preside el puerto, e incluso el mítico faro y el cementerio, brinda vistas al Catábrico, a la playa y a la villa, pues se construyó en una colina que en la antigüedad sirvió de fortaleza defensiva contra los ataques del oleaje; su construcción se remonta al siglo XIII, aunque sufrió diferentes remodelaciones ulteriores.

This is one of the places I go to regularly, it is located in the province of Zamora, and it is a Biosphere Reserve, Parque de las Lagunas de Sanabria.
La Naturaleza
La Naturaleza , las montañas, los lagos , los rios , las flores, no hay nada tan maravilloso y cercano a la felicidad que contemplar los parajes que nos brinda la naturaleza, y ademas de disfrutarlos guardar esas imagenes en mi vieja cámara para volver a recordarlos cuando ya no este allí, donde se escuchaba el silencio.
Este es uno de los lugares a los que acudo con asiduidad, se encuentra en la provincia de Zamora, y es Reserva de la Biosfera, Parque de las Lagunas de Sanabria.

This beautiful and cozy cottage in the shore of Peninsula Lake was completely surrounded by the marvelous colors of Autumn. It took my attention because I felt ourselves living there in complete peace and serenity, listening to the sound of the leaves falling and witnessing the fascinating colorful spectacle provided by the Autumn season in this fabulous region.
Like many cottages in Muskoka, it had its own jetty with the iconic Muskoka chairs to watch life unhurriedly go by.

Acogedora y coqueta cabaña en la orilla del Lago Peninsula, afueras de Huntsville, Muskoka, Ontario, Canadá
Esta hermosa y acogedora cabaña en la orilla del Lago Península estaba completamente rodeada de maravillosos colores. Me llamó la atención porque me sentí viviendo allí en completa paz y serenidad, escuchando el sonido de las hojas cayendo y presenciando el fascinante espectáculo colorido que brinda la temporada de Otoño en esta fabulosa región.
Como muchas casas rurales en Muskoka, tenía su propio embarcadero con las icónicas sillas Muskoka para observar la vida pasar sin prisas.

La catedral de Santa María de Regla de León es un templo de culto católico, sede episcopal de la diócesis de León, España, consagrada bajo la advocación de la Virgen María. Fue el primer monumento declarado en España mediante Real Orden de 28 de agosto del año 1844 (confirmada por Real Orden el 24 de septiembre del año 1845).
Iniciada en el siglo xiii, es una de las grandes obras del estilo gótico, de influencia francesa. Conocida con el sobrenombre de Pulchra leonina, que significa ‘Bella Leonesa’, se encuentra en pleno Camino de Santiago.
La catedral de León se conoce sobre todo por llevar al extremo la «desmaterialización» del arte gótico, es decir, la reducción de los muros a su mínima expresión para ser sustituidos por vitrales coloreados, constituyendo una de las mayores colecciones de vidrieras medievales del mundo.
La planta es casi una réplica de la catedral de Reims aunque en formato algo menor. Tiene unas dimensiones de 90 m de longitud, 30 m de alto y 29 m de ancho. Dividida en tres naves, de la entrada al transepto, y cinco naves del transepto al altar mayor. La catedral presenta macrocefalia, es decir una cabecera de mayor tamaño que lo común (el ancho del transepto en este caso), lo que le resta algo de profundidad y perspectiva, pero a cambio le brinda mayor espacio para los fieles; por estar en el Camino de Santiago su afluencia era mayor que el de otros templos. Las naves de la catedral de León se cubren con bóveda de crucería cuatripartita en tramos rectangulares. El crucero lo hace con una bóveda cuatripartita, que sustituyó a la cúpula barroca del siglo xvii en las obra acometidas a finales del siglo xix con el fin de guardar coherencia con el resto de la construcción. En sus muros presenta 125 ventanales, con 1800 m² de vidrieras policromadas de origen medieval, siendo consideradas de las mejores del mundo en su género. De ellas, destacan el gran rosetón central situado en el pórtico central, entre las dos torres de aguja, así como las de la Capilla Mayor, el transepto norte y la Capilla de Santiago.

Today's sunrise was like a gift. I was getting ready to leave when I saw this beautiful spectacle of shades of red, orange and purple appear over the eastern horizon.
At that moment, I felt speechless, with an incomparable feeling of gratitude for a new day to live, with all the intact dreams occupying my brain and remembering the treasures that this life offers us.
This sunrise lasted about 5 minutes, but it was a pleasure to witness it in complete silence (except for the annoying traffic noises on the street). Now, I put all my faith in and hope to see another colorful sunrise tomorrow. That will mean that I am still alive.

Amanecer del Jueves, Madrid, España
El amanecer de hoy fue como un regalo. Me estaba preparando para salir cuando vi este hermoso espectáculo de tonos rojos, naranjas y morados aparecer sobre el horizonte este.
En ese momento, me sentí sin palabras, con un incomparable sentimiento de gratitud por un nuevo día para vivir, con todos los sueños intactos ocupando mi cerebro y recordando los tesoros que esta vida nos brinda.
Este amanecer duró unos 5 minutos, pero fue un placer presenciarlo en completo silencio (excepto los molestos ruidos del tráfico en la calle). Ahora, pongo toda mi fe y espero ver otro amanecer colorido mañana. Eso significará que todavía estoy vivo.

Je souhaite aux habitants de notre terre commune commune, la paix avec eux-mêmes et leurs voisins, toujours un lieu où ils peuvent appeler leur maison remplie tous les jours, une bonne santé et de bons soins médicaux lorsqu'ils tombent malades, une famille aimante et de bons amis, Liberté de dire son opinion et de profiter des belles choses que notre nature nous donne tant. Faisons attention à toi et à nos voisins. Je souhaite que l'Europe devienne unie, que nous nous comprenions comme des Européens et que notre continent préserve ainsi la paix et la liberté. Mon souhait personnel à nos voisins anglais "Si vous restiez dans l'UE, nous nous manquerions beaucoup"!

En algunas partes ya están por iniciar el día, a esas personas madrugadoras y trabajadoras, les dedico esta sonrisa, con la finalidad de que cuando salgan y vean una mala cara, le brinden una hermosa sonrisa y asi contribuir a alegrale el dia a las personas. No sabía que tenía la meta tan cerca, a sólo un impulso y sin embargo me invade una gran tristeza, la cortina se va abriendo y dejando pasar la luz, se crea un recelo, una incertidumbre y siento miedo de pasar, estoy tan inseguro, pero no hay otra manera de salir, es como lanzarse al vacío y no hay marcha atrás, ser valiente y seguir afrontando los momentos que te depara el destino me hace fuerte.
La realidad a veces es tan dura, que en ese túnel te sientes cómodo, protegido pero aún si cabe, con más riesgos,,,

Después de un tiempo envuelto en lluvias, llevamos unos pocos días con unas temperaturas y unos cielos primaverales, así que me acerqué al río para disfrutar de estos momentos que nos brinda un Duero lleno de fuerza.

This area is my favorite on the west coast of Norway, since it provides opportunities for many beautiful landscapes. The light, and not least the weather, by the sea is changing rapidly. When the winter storms come, the waves can reach 100 feets high by the old lighthouse that you can glimpse far out on the horizon. Here many ships have lost their way. But not on days like this one! Cuando llegan las tormentas de invierno, las olas pueden alcanzar los 100 pies de altura junto al antiguo faro que se puede vislumbrar en el horizonte. Aquí muchos barcos han perdido el rumbo. ¡Pero no en días como este! ¡Te deseo un gran día!
Cette région est ma préférée sur la côte ouest de la Norvège, car elle offre des possibilités pour de nombreux paysages magnifiques. La lumière, et non des moindres la météo, au bord de la mer change rapidement. Lorsque les tempêtes hivernales arrivent, les vagues peuvent atteindre 100 pieds de haut près du vieux phare que vous pouvez apercevoir loin à l’horizon. Ici, de nombreux navires se sont égarés. Mais pas les jours comme celui-ci! Je vous souhaite une bonne journée!
Questa zona è la mia preferita sulla costa occidentale della Norvegia, dal momento che offre opportunità per molti bei paesaggi. The city of El Burgo de Osma (Soria, Spain) is full of beautiful corners and some surprises from Mother Nature, like this splendid stork nest I found looking up at the top of the old San Agustín Hospital, which currently houses, among other facilities, the Municipal Tourist Office.
The white stork (Ciconia ciconia) is a large bird with mostly white plumage with black wings, and the legs and beak of adults are red.
The white stork is a long-distance migratory bird. 25% of the world's population is concentrated in Poland.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: The white stork has had a notable impact on human folklore and culture due to its nesting behavior near or within human settlements, its large size, and its predation by vermin.
In ancient Egypt, it was associated with the hieroglyph Ba, or "soul."
The Hebrew word for the white stork is "chasidah," meaning "merciful" or "good."
Some of the earliest research on bird migration began after the discovery in Europe of the Pfeilstorch (or "arrow storks"), white storks that were wounded by arrows in Africa and managed to migrate to Europe with the arrows in their bodies.

UNA CIGÜEÑA EN EL ANTIGUO HOSPITAL DE SAN AGUSTÍN, 2025
La ciudad de El Burgo de Osma (Soria, España) está repleta de rincones muy bellos y de algunas sorpresas que nos brinda la madre Naturaleza, como este espléndido nido de cigüeñas que encontré mirando hacia la parte superior del antiguo Hospital de San Agustín, que actualmente alberga, entre otras dependencias, la Oficina Municipal de Turismo.
La cigüeña blanca (Ciconia ciconia) es un ave de gran tamaño, con un plumaje mayoritariamente blanco con negro en las alas, y las patas y el pico de los adultos adquieren un color rojo.
La cigüeña blanca es un ave migratoria de grandes distancias. El 25 % de la población mundial está concentrada en Polonia.
IMPORTANCIA CULTURAL: La cigüeña blanca ha tenido un impacto notable en el folclore y la cultura humana debido a su comportamiento de anidación cerca o dentro de asentamientos humanos, su gran tamaño, y la depredación de animales dañinos.

La catedral de Santa María de Regla de León es un templo de culto católico, sede episcopal de la diócesis de León, España, consagrada bajo la advocación de la Virgen María. Fue el primer monumento declarado en España mediante Real Orden de 28 de agosto del año 1844 (confirmada por Real Orden el 24 de septiembre del año 1845).
Iniciada en el siglo xiii, es una de las grandes obras del estilo gótico, de influencia francesa. Conocida con el sobrenombre de Pulchra leonina, que significa ‘Bella Leonesa’, se encuentra en pleno Camino de Santiago.
La catedral de León se conoce sobre todo por llevar al extremo la «desmaterialización» del arte gótico, es decir, la reducción de los muros a su mínima expresión para ser sustituidos por vitrales coloreados, constituyendo una de las mayores colecciones de vidrieras medievales del mundo.
La planta es casi una réplica de la catedral de Reims aunque en formato algo menor. Tiene unas dimensiones de 90 m de longitud, 30 m de alto y 29 m de ancho. Las naves de la catedral de León se cubren con bóveda de crucería cuatripartita en tramos rectangulares. El crucero lo hace con una bóveda cuatripartita, que sustituyó a la cúpula barroca del siglo xvii en las obra acometidas a finales del siglo xix con el fin de guardar coherencia con el resto de la construcción. En sus muros presenta 125 ventanales, con 1800 m² de vidrieras policromadas de origen medieval, siendo consideradas de las mejores del mundo en su género. La catedral de Santa María de Regla de León es un templo de culto católico, sede episcopal de la diócesis de León, España, consagrada bajo la advocación de la Virgen María. Fue el primer monumento declarado en España mediante Real Orden de 28 de agosto del año 1844 (confirmada por Real Orden el 24 de septiembre del año 1845).
Iniciada en el siglo xiii, es una de las grandes obras del estilo gótico, de influencia francesa. Conocida con el sobrenombre de Pulchra leonina, que significa ‘Bella Leonesa’, se encuentra en pleno Camino de Santiago.
La catedral de León se conoce sobre todo por llevar al extremo la «desmaterialización» del arte gótico, es decir, la reducción de los muros a su mínima expresión para ser sustituidos por vitrales coloreados, constituyendo una de las mayores colecciones de vidrieras medievales del mundo.
La planta es casi una réplica de la catedral de Reims aunque en formato algo menor. Tiene unas dimensiones de 90 m de longitud, 30 m de alto y 29 m de ancho. Dividida en tres naves, de la entrada al transepto, y cinco naves del transepto al altar mayor. La catedral presenta macrocefalia, es decir una cabecera de mayor tamaño que lo común (el ancho del transepto en este caso), lo que le resta algo de profundidad y perspectiva, pero a cambio le brinda mayor espacio para los fieles; por estar en el Camino de Santiago su afluencia era mayor que el de otros templos. Las naves de la catedral de León se cubren con bóveda de crucería cuatripartita en tramos rectangulares. El crucero lo hace con una bóveda cuatripartita, que sustituyó a la cúpula barroca del siglo xvii en las obra acometidas a finales del siglo xix con el fin de guardar coherencia con el resto de la construcción. En sus muros presenta 125 ventanales, con 1800 m² de vidrieras policromadas de origen medieval, siendo consideradas de las mejores del mundo en su género. De ellas, destacan el gran rosetón central situado en el pórtico central, entre las dos torres de aguja, así como las de la Capilla Mayor, el transepto norte y la Capilla de Santiago.
