The Mathematical Bridge, also known as Newton's bridge, Queen's College Cambridge UK. It looks like an arch but is made of straight timbers.
As I'm busy with work and real life getting in the way this weekend I won't be able to get out with the camera. So here's another shot from my trip to London in November. Taken as the sun was rising on a very cold morning on the South Bank. Probably London's most iconic bridge which is often mistaken as "London" Bridge.
Once was a railroad bridge then converted to a road bridge, north of Byars, Oklahoma along the Washita River.

The bridge in Inistioge is a ten-arch rubble stone classical-style road bridge over river, built 1763, on site of earlier bridge, c.1700. It is It is the only bridge in Europe of its kind, boasting 10 arches of equal size. River Nore, Inistioge, County Kilkenny, Ireland

The Kapellbrücke (literally, Chapel Bridge) is a covered wooden footbridge spanning diagonally across the Reuss River in the city of Lucerne in central Switzerland. Named after the nearby St. Peter's Chapel, the bridge is unique because it contains a number of interior paintings dating back to the 17th century, although many of them were destroyed along with most of the centuries-old bridge in a 1993 fire. Subsequently restored, the Kapellbrücke is the oldest wooden covered bridge in Europe as well as the world's oldest surviving truss bridge.
The bridge itself was originally built in 1333 as part of Lucerne's fortifications. It linked the old town on the right bank of the Reuss to the new town on the left bank, securing the city from attack from the south (i.e. from the lake).
This bridge was originally located northwest of Marshall, Indiana. It was relocated to Billie Creek Village in 1979. Unlike most of the covered bridges in Parke County, this bridge is named after the Beeson family who lived nearby (most are named after the the town they are located in or the river they cross.). This bridge also survived two different arson attempts in 1979 before it was relocated.
Also note this bridge does not have the famous words "Cross this bridge at a walk" as most other covered bridges in Parke County. This is most likely due to it being located on private property and not passable by vehicular traffic.

Aldwark Toll Bridge is situated on the River Ure, near to the confluence of the Nidd (and thus forming the Ouse). It is one of only a few privately owned bridges in the country The toll for a car is now 40p saving a 25 mile journey
In 1772, John Thompson was given the powers by an Act of Parliament to build a bridge over the Ure at this point, owing to the dangerous river conditions in the area. Oddly, in the 19th Century, the bridge was hit by an iceberg and was rebuilt - this is the bridge that is currently standing
Although the bridge itself is made of iron, the deck is made of specially imported hardwood, and can be a bit disconcerting crossing in a large van! The weight limit is currently set at 7.5 tonnes, which is testament to the original builders, who only envisioned horse and carts crossing it. (Sabre)

The Lower Bridge, Antietam Creek. Antietam Battlefield. Sharpsburg, MD. Early morning.
The view is to the west, from the Federal position, facing the Confederate defenders in the Quarry and the town of Sharpsburg.
In the third and final phase of the battle, Federal troops, under the command of General Ambrose Burnside, spent most of the day attempting to take the bridge, and in the process sustained terrible casualties. The bridge was eventually carried, and Federal forces approached Sharpsburg and the Army of Northern Virginia's headquarters. Confederate troops, under the command of General A.P. Hill, directly entered the battle after a 17-mile march from Harper's Ferry which they had begun eight hours earlier. Confederate counterattacks pushed the Federal left wing back behind Antietam Creek, and this effectively ended the Battle of Antietam.
Storebæltsbroen, Storebaelt Great Belt Bridge Denmark
The Great Belt Fixed link (Danish: Storebæltsforbindelsen) is a multi-element fixed link crossing the Great Belt straight between the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen. It consists of five structures: a road suspension bridge and a railway tunnel between Zealand and the small island Sprogø located in the middle of the Great Belt, and a box girder bridge for both road and rail traffic between Sprogø and Funen. The "Great Belt Bridge" (Danish: Storebæltsbroen) commonly refers to the suspension bridge, although it may also be used to mean the box-girder bridge or the link in its entirety. The suspension bridge, officially known as the East Bridge, has the world's third longest main span (1.6 km), and the longest outside of Asia.
