Acting as a bridesmaid for two of my favorite people this evening who are getting hitched. ♥ Thought I'd show off the dress because I think it's pretty!
This was one of our friend's wedding, Tad and Sarah. These lanterns were so cute, I loved the decorations..... Way behind on editing, so I'm just getting to these
Because the trees were so high the light was low enough that I was able to get some long-enough exposures without using a filter using my 24-105 lens.
Bridesmaid's Falls at Bushkill Falls in Pennsylvania in July. There were two falls called Bridesmaid's Falls, which confused me, but then, I guess most brides have several bridesmaids, right? The hills and stairs were steep and I stopped lots to get photos so I didn't notice how hard the climb was on my legs till my calves were "seized up" the next day Although we had been trying to do as much walking and hiking as possible, there is no way to avoid too much sitting on a 3 1/2 week road trip so by the time we got to PA I was craving some exercise. I wish I was closer and could go back to Bushkill in the fall; I bet it is glorious in autumn colors.

This is a photo I edited of my friend Becky as a bride and me standing next to her as her bridesmaid.
I often like to edit some girls' photos changing up the color or length of their dresses. Becky recently posted a very cute picture in a lovely prom dress, and I had a little fun tweaking it. I pointed out that making it white made it look like a wedding dress. She was absolutely thrilled to see herself as a bride. After changing the image even more adding a veil, tiara, and a change of location, I edited myself standing next to her and gave her a nice wedding photo.
I think this image came a long way from her original photo.

Bridesmaid Falls, historically named Noble Falls, is located along the western flank of Cannon Mountain in Franconia, New Hampshire, and is considered one of New Hampshire's "lost waterfalls". The source is Meadow Brook. Some references, however, say the falls is on Coppermine Brook, but GPS shows Coppermine as 0.5 miles to the west.
There is currently very little information on this waterfall. The World Waterfalls Database shows the two sides of the falls as having heights of 55 and 46 feet. Two of my waterfall books (one for New Hampshire and one for New England) have no more than a mention of Noble Falls, and it is in the section on nearby Bridal Veil Falls. Both books describe Noble Falls as "rumored" or "obscure", as well as "smaller" and "likely less impressive" compared to Bridal Veil Falls.
If you do visit these falls, go after snowmelt or a good rain. When I went last autumn for the first time, there was only a thin stream of water on the left falls, and no water at all on the right.
