The Unexpected Alliance

Deep within the mountain’s heart, where sunlight fears to tread, lies a dwarven city of unparalleled wealth. Its tunnels stretch endlessly, carved into the rock by generations of blacksmiths and miners. In the deepest recesses of this subterranean realm lies an ancient secret: the dwarves have forged an unexpected alliance with a colossal dragon.

In a vast chamber, illuminated by a phosphorescent glow, only the head and tail of a dragon with ruby-red scales emerge from a heap of gold. Its amber eyes, filled with millennia of wisdom, gaze upon the immense treasure that engulfs it. At its feet, two dwarven guards, clad in finely crafted armor, stand watch around the clock over a blue sphere suspended above a pedestal adorned with mysterious runes. This sphere, a tangible symbol of the union between the two races, emits a soft pulse, radiating a calming energy throughout the chamber.

The history of this alliance dates back to ancient times. The dwarves, ever seeking new veins of ore, had ventured too deep into the mountain and disturbed the dragon’s slumber. Instead of exterminating them, the creature perceived in them a strength and determination worthy of admiration. A pact was forged: the dwarves could continue to exploit the mountain’s riches in exchange for their loyalty and regular tributes. The dragon, in turn, would protect the city from any external threats.

The Burning Portal

The Great Library of the Kolgaris was a sanctuary of ancient knowledge. Its shelves, which reached up to the vaulted ceiling, were filled with dusty grimoires, magical artifacts, ancient scrolls, and potions of vibrant colors. It was in this setting that Elara resided, the youngest apprentice of the order.

That day, Elara was tasked with reorganizing a particularly high shelf. As she reached the top of the ladder, her foot slipped. In her fall, she knocked over vials that shattered into a thousand pieces, spilling their colorful liquids onto the wooden floor. A spark jumped from one of the potions, causing an explosion, and in an instant, the fire spread across the floor towards the center of the room.

Faelan, the oldest and wisest of the Kolgaris, was working near the teleportation portal when he heard the explosion and felt the heat rising. He looked up in horror and saw the flames engulfing the magic circle. He knew that if the fire reached the portal, it would emerge just as dangerous on the other side, unleashing destructive forces into the Sacred Forest.

Time was of the essence. The library, the beating heart of their knowledge, was in peril. But that was not all. The Sacred Forest, the lungs of their world, was in danger of being ravaged by the unleashed flames. The Kolgaris had to act quickly. Every second that passed brought them closer to disaster.

Clash of lances

Every year, the Dragon Clan organizes a great joust. The best knights from across the kingdoms gather for a merciless tournament. Currently, it is the young prodigy, Lorik, who faces the fearsome Moros, a knight with a dark reputation, while the Dragon Clan’s own knight prepares to enter the lists.

Let us listen to the bard commentate on this clash:

« Hear ye, hear ye, one and all,

A joust begins, a hero’s call!

Sir Lorik, bold and strong and bright,

His armor gleams with silver light.

Sir Moros, dark as stormy night,

His shield bears a dragon, fierce and tight.

Their steeds they spur, with all their might,

To meet in battle, full of fight.

Their lances clash, a mighty sound,

As they collide upon the ground.

Sir Moros falls, his quest is done,

And Lorik claims the victor’s crown.»

"Sometimes a quiet rustling of the leaves spells doom for those who wander the Mystic Forest without the care or respect it is due. A few of the warrior mice of Ardeth within the Mystic Forest have braved death to mount the most posionous creatures of the realm, the poison dart frog, to guard its borders. These brave little ones are not to be dismissed as they are highly skilled archers who tip their arrow heads in the poison of their amphibious rides. Just one shot from these tiny assassins is guarunteed death so tread through the forests very carefully..."

I created a 3rd build for the digital category of Brickscalibur. I started building this at a much larger scale but then opted for a smaller but fun build. Hope you enjoy!

Quest of the Dragon Slayer

In the heart of the Dragon’s Spine Mountains, a fearsome beast has awakened. The ancient dragon has been dormant for centuries, but a recent seismic disturbance has roused it from its slumber. With its fiery breath and razor-sharp claws, the creature has begun to terrorize the nearby villages, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

A group of unlikely heroes has formed to challenge the dragon and bring peace to the land. Each of them is drawn to this quest for different reasons:

The Knight: Guided by his sense of duty and his desire to protect the innocent, the Knight sees defeating the dragon as an opportunity to leave an indelible mark on history.

The Bard: Moved by the tales of suffering caused by the dragon, the Bard wishes to compose an epic ballad celebrating the victory over this evil creature. He hopes his music will inspire future generations.

The Dwarf: As guardian of the mountains, the Dwarf considers the dragon a threat to his home. He is determined to protect his community and preserve the natural beauty of his kingdom.

The Assassin: Though often solitary, the Assassin feels a strange calling to join this quest. He hopes that defeating the dragon will allow him to find new meaning in his life and redemption for his past actions.

The Mage: Fascinated by legendary creatures, the Mage sees the dragon as a unique opportunity to study ancient magic and deepen his knowledge. He also hopes to use his powers to protect the innocent.

Together, these adventurers must navigate treacherous dungeons, outsmart cunning traps, and face off against hordes of monstrous creatures. Their ultimate goal is to reach the dragon’s lair and defeat the dragon once and for all.

This quest is full of promise and adventure. Each of the heroes hopes to find what they seek: glory, redemption, knowledge, or simply the satisfaction of having accomplished a great feat.

For as long as anyone can remember, people in the settlements of the secret lands have been talking about a mighty and evil green dragon with white wings of an eagle. The monster dwelling is the ancient crystal cave. Nobody has never seen him up close! He's quite a big guy, and it's natural to feel scared when you first lay eyes on him. In that moment, all you can do is run, and that's okay!

And so it came to pass that also the bravest Dungeon Master group (I'm sure you know who I mean)

* Winnifred the Weird Warrior

*Parzival the picky Paladin

*Hilda the hyperactive Healer, who is also one of the bravest dungeon masters of all time!

*Marla the moody Mage!

*And let's not forget Brunhilde the brave Bard!

*Nero the nefarious necromancer

and he's got his skeletons, Nobody, Nolegs, and Nothing!

heard about this creature. Without a moment's hesitation, they set out on a journey to find and defeat this terrible creature. They were the strongest, smartest, and bravest, and they were going to succeed!

Thorn, the Seed of Rebellion

Before Lord Grimclaw’s reign truly crumbled, a spark of defiance ignited deep within the forest. Thorn, a young badger with a spirit as sharp as his claws, dared to challenge the boar’s tyranny. Alone against the might of Grimclaw’s forces, Thorn became a symbol of hope, stirring whispers of rebellion among the oppressed creatures. He sabotaged supply lines, freed captured animals, and spread tales of courage, inspiring others to rise against the tyrant. Though his efforts may have seemed insignificant at the time, Thorn’s acts of defiance sowed the seeds of rebellion, paving the way for the eventual downfall of Lord Grimclaw.

Clinging to a grappling hook, a figure shrouded in a long midnight blue cape swung over the void. Their face, hidden by a mask, was illuminated by the moonlight and the shifting hues of the stained glass windows. What mission brings them to scale the walls of this ancient fortress? What secret do they seek to uncover beneath the watchful eye of the moon? The legends of Avalonia are still being written...

In the woods of Taunus, there's a secret community of dwarves.

They've managed to stay hidden for thousands of years, which is pretty amazing.

Fortunately, the nasty people of this world are too blind to the fantastic things she hide.

Two of these wonderful beings are Fenni and Fentoscha Frischwald.

Every day, they work together diligently in the mine to chop beautiful crystals.

They're planning to use them to celebrate their count together three hundredth birthday with all the dwarves.They're going to create a spectacular light show with the crystals and torches, something no one has ever seen before...
