Picture 1-2- completed the annual cleaning of the layout, moved back all figs, vehicles and ships- I also installed a new air cleaning machine in order to minimize dust in the room (Picture 2- right top corner 😊), it does a GREAT job in addition to the ‘old’ one

Picture 3-4- the farm diorama was moved next to the hangar and will be extended in 2021, also cleaned up and organized all sets for the amusement park display

Picture 5- the winter diorama got more baseplates as well, placed my latest winter MOD’s on the display, more updates coming next year

Picture 6- I finally decided to keep the airport terminal on this particular display table, Ninjago City display coming in 2021 in the background, using the previously completed buildings, sets and all accessories were organized and cleaned

Picture 7-8- display areas were cleaned up, I decided to put my latest Endor MOC to a frequent place

Picture 9- the area I will work on next in my city, will add a school MOC (48x48) and complete the access to the square, river walkway and two bridges

Picture 10- I will say good bye to the red couch spring 2021 and a new display table will be added to the room hosting the long waited medieval diorama (8x5 standard baseplates)

Beside all that I cleaned and re-organized all of my drawers and the entire spare part collection....additional led lights will be installed next week and building will also start soon 😊

After the long break started my slow return to the brick world 😊…the good thing about taking a step back is to end up with a long to do list 😆 I have so many things in the pipeline that I think -like the first quarter this year- the next months will be very exciting …

It took much longer than expected, but finally the ‘Home Alone’ project is completed 🙏😊 started building back in November 2021, based on 9 regular base plates (using a MILS technique), containing over 10 000 bricks…from the minifig scale basement to the attic all floors -and of course the garage- are fitted out with a full interior as well. Since I posted already pictures covering the building inside I focused on the exterior this time. You can also find a close up from the minifigs included in the scenery. I plan to take a final video soon with a detailed overview of the final product.

The Temple of Airjitzu (70751) almost ready for the integration to the Ninjago City diorama …during the original process the two smaller buildings were extended, the temple became modular and completed on all sides. In the second phase I built the rocky platform, added additional trees & vegetation for the perfect fit to the final display, still WIP but close to completion…what do you think so far? 🤔

Used two original sets and approximately 300 additional pieces to complete the new version of the Lodge. After making various considerations I purchased the design created by @han.qian as I liked in general how he approached the extension. After realizing that his version is not modular started to go my own way making several changes along the way. The final product is modular including a stable roof structure and will be integrated to my Winter Village diorama.

Using two sets, and some additional elements I created a modular version of the most recent Lego winter set. The final display version is sitting on two regular baseplates, also added a bigger pine tree 🌲 and Santa’s delivery truck (40746) to the final display version. I really liked the design used for the original set, what are your impressions? 😊

The chalet closed down in style 😊

I carried some backlog with my Winter village project, one of the open items was related to the Chalet released as part the Bricklink designer program last year. This was one of my favorite sets, so there was no intention to make any big chances since the building is pro as it is. In the background you can already see the modified, modular version of 10325, a more complex & interesting build I think. Official pics on that one coming over the weekend 😊

Ninjago City Centre- when I first saw the official pictures of the city set 60380 I thought it would a good base for a Ninjago style conversion (whatever this means 😊) to complete my ongoing diorama project. After a few months here we are with the completed set also including a special take of the ice cream shop (60363)…a rather long and disrupted build due to unforeseen challenges stopping me again & again from spending time in the Lego room. 😐 The building is fully modular with a full interior.

How do you like the final product? 😳 More pictures of the finished diorama coming very soon…
