Long-tail boats for hire at West Railay Beach in Krabi, Thailand. Not an island, but a boat is required to access this beach which is cut off from the mainland by soaring cliffs.

I think this is a Sawfly larvae but I'm not too sure...or maybe belonging to a species of moth??
All help on the i.d of this one will be gratefully received, I've searched through my books and internet but no luck so far. Thank you for your time :))
My internet is 'snail pace' here so please bear with me :))
UPDATE....pretty sure this is a Sawfly (Tenthredinidae) Växtstekel - Common Sawfly. :)

Took this down then put it back on again as it was hardly being seen by anybody before, not the first time this has happened.
While stopping in Skagway, Alaska, we took the train through White Pass. I tried to shoot all the wonderful scenes through the window, but the train was moving quite quickly and the windows were dirty. So I figured, might as well do some ICM, combined with the movement of the train.

Now you don't know nowhere to begin
Since it was a windy day with a nice amount of clouds, I decided to photograph this red barn and oak tree. This is a two minute exposure using a ten stop neutral density filter.
This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Breezy. Often a gentle breeze is something pleasant. In this case, what started out as a soft breeze turned out to be the future leaving a clue of a forthcoming storm with record-breaking rain in our area. It's over now and the sun is shining, but there are a few snapped tree branches still to clean up.
