Nothing lasts forever... even if you carve it in stone

Or concrete, apparently...

Breaking up is hard to do. Letting go is harder.

From a single strand the aurora breaks up into multiple undulating curtains that seem to shiver. And then a minute later it's back to sleep.

These two images, taken about eight minutes apart, show clump-like

structures and a great deal of dust in Saturn's ever-changing F ring. The

images show an object-interior to and detached from the bright core of the

F ring that appears to be breaking up into discrete clumps.

Cassini scientists have been monitoring clumps in the F ring for more than

two years now, trying to understand whether these represent small

permanent moonlets or transient aggregates of material. (See PIA07716.)

This view looks toward the unlit side of the rings from about 35 degrees

above the ringplane.

The images were taken in visible light with the Cassini spacecraft

narrow-angle camera on Dec. 23, 2006 at a distance of approximately 2

million kilometers (1.2 million miles) from Saturn. Image scale is 12

kilometers (7 miles) per pixel.

The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA, the European

Space Agency and the Italian Space Agency. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory,

a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, manages

the mission for NASA's Science Mission Directorate, Washington, D.C. The

Cassini orbiter and its two onboard cameras were designed, developed and

assembled at JPL. The imaging operations center is based at the Space

Science Institute in Boulder, Colo.

Halsey, a musician, and her boyfriend break up, and the singer is suing for custody of their baby. The couple had just welcomed their kid a few weeks before after dating for a while. To inform her followers of their breakup, Halsey sent a message on Instagram. In her letter, she requested privacy at this time and stated that she and her ex-partner are "dedicated to raising our son together in a healthy and happy environment.

Halsey has been candid about her infertility issues and her decision to become a single parent after becoming pregnant. She stated that she had frozen her eggs and intended to conceive on her own in an interview from earlier this year. She also disclosed that endometriosis, a painful condition that damages the uterine lining tissue, was the cause of her diagnosis.

At this moment, it is unknown what caused the couple to separate, but Halsey has said that she would do all in her ability to provide their boy a loving environment. The singer has received messages of support from her followers for her and her family during this trying period.

For this photo i wanted to experiment with different angles and how you can change the angle of the face as well as the facial expression to show emotion. I tried to express a sullen or sad look and tied in this emotion with different elements. Elements used to help show emotion were the lighting, overlapping typography, and more. The overlapping typography was to show the concept of a Lost Love or heartbreak.

July 6, 2008.

Since I was 17, first date, first kiss, first everything, I really hoped we would be together forever. It's been a nightmare the last 4 months.

Last week he told me he wanted to stay with me forever, to start a family and move in together and everything.

But after that, where did he go? No more calls? No voice mails? Is he dead? Instantly going back to the way things were.

Or just another pie-crust promise. Easily made, easily broken.

This relationship has dragged out way too long. 3 years, I think I've had it.

I'm an adult now, and I can't see it happening this way any more, and I refuse to accept that this is the way things should be.

After all, all breakups don't last forever~

I FINALLY came up with a way to participate in TOTW's "The Breakup" theme! Seriously, not easy for someone who's been married 21 years.

Today's VIS image shows part of Iani Chaos. Chaos terrain is typified by mesas and valleys. The initial breakup of the land is due to tectonic forces. With time and erosion the valleys widen and the mesas grow smaller. This image shows a cross section of Iani Chaos and the different scales of the mesas are readily visible.

At any rate, she has laid claim to the "Animal Bag." It's hard to believe that she's 15. She certainly doesn't act her age.
