This majestic Oak fell a couple of years ago and since then the water from the Kiswaukee river along with the Dandelions and Fungi have been working on breaking it down. This is at Brookdale conservation site.

9/8/08 - After a sweaty run last period I had to come home and leave to the doctor's which is about an hour away. While in the car I messed around with my camera and decided this was a good explanation of today. I get so close to a breaking point and it's his words that mend me back together. That sounds so cliche but it's so true. People have no idea how helpful they can be, especially when you aren't even seeking help. I naturally have my mouth in that position and ever since I was little I've had my face compared to an American Girl Doll!

I've been breaking down pallets for years now. I don't want nails in my boards as I don't want to wreck my blades and equipment. I also want to have boards as long as possible to make sure I have options and to not be limited. This is how I do it. I can have an entire average pallet broken down and rid of all its nails in less than 15 minutes without breaking a sweat. Enjoy!

Knabbelaar aan het werk op het Korte Voorhout in Den Haag. Voormalig verzekeringsgebouw en het vroegere pand van de Franse ambassade gaan tegen de vlakte. Het is geen groot gemis, als ik zo vrij mag zijn, het waren allebei tamelijk oninteressante en anonieme kantoorbunkers uit de jaren zeventig. Over enkele jaren komt hier de nieuwe huisvesting van de Hoge Raad.

All appliances or “white goods” (clothes washers/dryers, refrigerators, ovens, water heaters, air conditioners, etc) become valuable sources of scrap metal when they are no longer wanted. However, some components in appliances contain hazardous materials that can damage human health and the environment if they are not removed and properly managed. Hazardous components may include: encapsulated polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs); Freon, Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydro-chlorofluorocarbons (HCFC) and other refrigerants; mercury in switches and temperature control devices; Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in metal-encased capacitors; used oil from compressors and transmissions; and any other material that is a regulated hazardous waste. Please dispose of these items properly.
