Here is my beautiful Baby girl Sophia Grace Watson born at 4.29pm on Monday 23rd September.
On Sunday night my wife, myself and our friends went out for a curry. We'd joked that spicy food can help bring on labour. At 10pm we went home, and at 11.30pm my wife's waters broke! We couldn't believe it! A week before due date!
It was a pretty tough labour, but I now have a wonderful and very cute daughter, and my wife has recovered very well!
The only downside, was my plans for watching breaking bad and playing Grand Theft Auto 5 had to be put on hold!
So far we have lots of dirty nappies, and a few sleepless nights, but we're loving every minute of it!
I considered building the Walther White figure in a black suit with a black hat, but figured the yellow HAZMAT suit would be even more recognisable.
The real car was supposed to be very practical, with a split tailgate offering good access to the luggage compartment. My LEGO version obviously had to have this too. The doors also open. This was made a bit more complicated by wanting to have tinted windows in the rear doors, but I could use a mechanism I designed for SUVs last year.

My 2014 Winnebago RV version comes with interior and
a different scale then the 2009 version.
A must have for all camping enthusiasts!
After the huge demand of people who asked me if i can build them a copy of the famous RV, i decided to scale it down, so i can build even more copies without losing my sanity.
These are two finished copies!
So let´s cook, äh...camp ;)
Back to the basics . . .
My favorites in this group are Gudetama emerging from the egg in the centre row and the old style Bully Bina Maja in the lower left corner.

Went to visit one of the lesser-known Breaking Bad Universe film locations, a laundromat, and discovered it had burnt up last month.

A shot featuring neighborhood sentiment is here.
The property was built in 1948 and burned on February 17, 2024. So it stood for 76 years. The owner has said he'll rebuild.
When I first moved to 'Burque in 1988, this was a 24-hour laundromat. I lived a few blocks away (in a building at another BB location!) and did my clothes here for a decade. I hadn't been back in years by the time it became a Wash Tub in 2003.

Slightly warmer temperatures and strong winds broke up the ice on the lake. I love it when this happens, especially when the ice is nice and clear. I really wanted to do a timelapse but I had to get back to work. Luckily my boss (a.k.a my dad) is awesome, he let me take some photos before we left.
Customers peruse the menu at the famed Breaking Bad (BB) and Better Call Saul (BCS) filming location – a real 57-year-old Route 66 hot dog joint – in Albuquerque, New Mexico
The place has never had the outdoor wooden picnic tables seen in the Breaking Bad Universe, which were added for filming. For views of the interior (never shown in BB or BCS), click here or here.
"Drive-in" does NOT mean "drive-THRU" at the Dog House – there are no drive-up or service windows. But park anywhere and a nice car-hop will come take your order. Or, you can go inside and order in the tiny cabin of a dining room, where there are five tables around the walls and a handful of brightly-colored stools at a short counter fronting the kitchen.
Location: 1216 Central Ave NW (former Route 66), 7:38pm
Breaking Bad: 1x06 "Crazy Handful of Nothin'"; 2x01 "Seven Thirty-Seven"; 5x12 (or 5Bx04) "Rabid Dog"
Better Call Saul: 2x08 "Fifi"; 4x05 "Quite a Ride"
The series finale is tonight!!
Heisenberg + "pies" = Piesenberg...get it? But the German pronunciation gets mangled...
More Slice of Life
Im so stoked for the new season of breaking bad. the walt fig is still a wip, he needs glasses and his hat. but i suck at painting glasses. k. the bags of meth are about the size of a penny, and can open and close at the top, as they are made from actual ziplock bags. i cut up the bags, melted the sides shut, and cut up clear and blue peices. sorry for the bad photography of the bags. they were very difficult to get a good photo of :P i stayed up almost all night last night watching season 5 on netflix, as they just added it. the whole time, i was cutting up translucent pieces and making little bags. enjoy!
