lovin' that prep light across the way

I was at The Forks Market with my friend Tanis. I was on the ground to get a worms-eye shot through her digital camera, then when I was getting up, she clicked this without my knowing.

One of the things I loved about Wrocław was the student culture. Everywhere else I've been so far is very conservative and plain. All the students and young people wear the same standard jeans, t-shirt, jacket ensemble, same haircuts, same makeup, it's all very bland. Wrocław was the first place where I started to see some proper student sub-cultures in action. Still nothing close to what we get in Brisbane (not a single goth or emo), but a few people with their own individual style. Here I saw a group of boys breakdancing in the market square. I don't think they had a hat out for money, just doing it cos it's fun. ^_^

Yoshi started breakdancing and was pretty rad at it..

While I was in Birmingham for a couple of days, I decided to take some shots of the Bullring. It hasn't really been photographed enough has it? Feeling uninspired by that building, due to all the identikit shots taken by photographers before me, I wandered off and found these guys.

Collectively known as MDK, these are my least awful shots of them in action. They will be visiting Liverpool soon, so I'm hoping I might manage to shoot a bit better and do them justice.

A lot of the circus kids came along to the party, and when the music was turned up and faster songs lined up on the playlist, they got dancing with some impromptu breakdancing moves. Some of these kids are super talented.

These pics are from my old boyfriend in 8th grade (Mitch)'s Christmas Dance Party!!!
