Tonmoy Sharma, CEO, Sovereign Health Group recently shared his vision for using neuro feedback as a tool for empowering patients who are being treated for substance abuse. In order to do so, Dr. Sharma explains, we start by measuring the four types of brain activity through the use of an EEG (electroencephalograph). The EEG picks up electrical impulses that are generated when we have any thoughts. Just like when we treat high cholesterol by measuring the different types of cholesterol in the body and the ratio between them, we can measure the four types of brainwaves that signify different types of brain activity. We know that people with substance abuse issues have a certain type of brain activity and our goal is to decrease that type of brain activity in relationship to other types of brain activity. We are working with the patient to change the ratio of the different brain activities in order to normalize brain function. After we have used EEG as an assessment tool we employ neuro feedback to help patients get their emotion regulation and decision making back on track. During between 12 and 20 neuro feedback sessions of about 30-40 minutes each we have them look at stimulus such as video or a photo that will evoke a certain emotion. We then train the patient to manage the brain waves so when faced with a trigger they can change their brain waves and resist the craving. This gives them the ability to help themselves by empowering them to take control over their emotions and begin to live day-by-day. Through these neurofeedback sessions, people suffering with addiction can see for themselves that it makes a big difference.

How shy am I? I'm not so shy that I won't ask a cute guy to flex for me, but I am too shy to ask him to whip off his shirt no matter how many brainwaves I send out trying to get him to do just that. Those are the borderlands in which I live...
Here it is finally - my Terror Drome. I've wanted to build one of these for years now, and once I finally got started, it took about half a year to complete, working on and off, and taking breaks to build small MOCs here and there.
The original error Drome is considered by many Joe aficionados to be one of the all-time greatest large toys in the line.
www.yojoe.com/vehicles/86/terrordrome/
I never had a Terror Drome myself, but became well acquainted with them through the G.I.Joe comic, in which Terror Dromes were used for air defense, as a covert source for spreading "paranoia waves" and to house the terrifying Brainwave Scanner.
In the comic and cartoon, the Terror Drome was represented in several different versions, generally larger and more elaborate than the one exemplified by the toy, which should be considered to be a scaled-down and simplified representation of a larger and more sophisticated Cobra base.
When Standard Oil was ordered broken up in 1911, John D. Rockefeller started the Rockefeller Foundation as a way of changing his terrible public image. Rockefeller Holdings did business with the Nazis throughout World War II. They provided oil and gas to the Nazis. Senator Harry Truman told reporters that the company’s actions constituted “treason.” The Rockefeller Foundation funded the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Psychiatry in Munich, Germany. They also provided large grants to the institute throughout the Hitler era. The Rockefeller Foundation also funded the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Anthropology, Eugenics, and Human Heredity. If you follow the money, the Rockefellers, the Warburgs, and the Harrimans are often found behind the implementation of eugenics and psychiatric mind control. These families worked with the Round Table groups of Cecil Rhodes, who was an operative of the Rothschild family. After Hitler came to power, psychiatric institutes were incorporated into the Nazi system. The Nazis instituted a sterilization law, which was based on the Virginia Sterilization Act of 1924. At Auschwitz, many Jews filled out questionnaires from the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute. After being tortured and killed, some of their body parts were shipped to the same institute.
Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt, who is known as the father of experimental psychology, created the first experimental psychology laboratory. This became the model for psychological research around the globe. Jim Keith, who was offed by the CIA, said that Wundt “rejected the moral equation in dealing with mankind—thereby putting man in a test tube [so to speak]—and by doing so opened the door to many of the atrocities that followed in this century, including the horrors of mind control.” Next came along Ivan Petrovich Pavlov, with his discovery of classical conditioning. Pavlov implanted tubes into the cheeks of dogs, so that he could measure saliva levels. The dogs were conditioned to salivate at the sound of a bell, because they associated the sound of the bell with food. Then came John Watson, who used classical conditioning on “Little Albert.” Watson conditioned the toddler to fear a white rat. He repeatedly made loud noises when the boy was with the rat, frightening him. Albert was 11 months old when his conditioning began. Watson claimed that he could take any 12 infants and mold them into whatever kind of people he desired by using behavioral techniques. He also stated that “men are built, not born.” Now we get to Burrhus Frederic Skinner, who is called the father of operant conditioning. Skinner was also interested in the works of Ivan Petrovich Pavlov and John Watson. He conducted animal experiments in a “Skinner box.” He used rewards and punishments to shape behaviours. “Through some tinkering, he created the ‘air crib,’ a climate controlled environment for an infant. One of these air cribs resides in the gallery at the Center for the History of Psychology in Akron, Ohio.” His daughter slept and played in this box/crib for the first 2 years of her life. “We see operant conditioning training us everywhere, intentionally or unintentionally.”
The Nazis killed around 300,000 people with disabilities and mental illness in psychiatric hospitals. The United States, under Project Paperclip, brought around 5,000 Nazi scientists into the country. Charles Eliot Perkins, one of America’s leading chemists, said, “I was told of this entire scheme by a German chemist who was an official of the great Farben chemical industries and was also prominent in the Nazi movement at the time. I say this with all earnestness and sincerity of a scientist who has spent nearly 20 years’ research into the chemistry, biochemistry, physiology and pathology of fluorine—any person who drinks artificially fluorinated water for a period of one year or more will never again be the same person, mentally or physically.” The National Toxicology Program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states that there is a connection between fluoride and lowered IQ in children. Yet they don’t know if the dosage of fluoride, which they put in the water, is enough to lower IQ. Oddly enough, after all these years, the government doesn’t know if the amount of fluoride they are using is lowering the IQ of it citizens! A scientific paper titled “Fluoride and Pineal Gland,” found that fluoride accumulates in the pineal gland. The pineal gland undergoes mineralization and accumulates “extremely high concentrations of fluoride,” “making it the most fluoride-saturated organ of the human body.” Fluoride causes oxidative stress. Melatonin, which the pineal gland produces, helps to relieve oxidative stress. Yet melatonin production is reduced in a Pineal Gland that is calcified and saturated with fluoride. Scientific research has found that higher concentrations of fluoride stimulate the process of mineralization. Melatonin also helps to regulate the sleep cycle. It’s easy to see how fluoride could cause a population to have less energy due to the disruption of their sleep cycles caused by lower melatonin levels, thus producing a more lethargic and passive society. It could possibly cause an increase in mental illnesses, neurodegenerative diseases, brain tumors, and strokes. Fluoride also accumulates in other soft tissues such as the aorta, coronary arteries, and placenta. Therefore, fluoride can mineralize both hard and soft tissue.
In Prussia, the first compulsory school system was instituted. Although this educational system greatly improved literacy rates, it also created a dumbed-down style of education. It was criticized for its social control, for its creation of obedient subjects, and for its destruction of free will. The Prussian model of education greatly influenced other educational systems, such as the American educational system. In America, they moved away from phonics to a dumbed-down version of reading called sight-reading (Dick and Jane). This system of “not-teaching-reading was used essentially to disadvantage all but the privileged class.” It was said that if a child could be kept from reading well in the first six or seven years of school, then the damage would be done. This kind of curriculum is supposed to outwardly look academic. Yet it is comprised of units that are either too short for proper and effective learning, or too long and wasteful and inefficient. All who have gone through the public educational system have been given a dumbed-down education. Common Core, No Child Left Behind, and the Three-Cueing System are prime examples of education being increasingly dumbed-down. Modern education is about socializing students, as opposed to teaching them to be true critical thinkers. Yet the ability of children to socialize has declined and so has their literacy.
Dr. G. Brock Chisholm, the first director-general of the World Health Organization, said, “What basic psychological distortion can be found in every civilization of which we know anything? The only psychological force capable of producing these perversions is morality—the concept of right and wrong. The re-interpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong are the belated objectives of nearly all psychotherapy.” He also remarked, “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men, their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism and religious dogmas.”
The CIA desired to create a Manchurian Candidate. Dr. George Estabrooks stated in an interview that to make an effective assassin, one must use hypnosis to create multiple personalities. Estabrooks also said, “I can hypnotize a man without his knowledge or consent into committing treason against the United States.” He also suggested that Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby could have been acting through hypnosis. The intelligence community found that hypnosis was more effective with the use of drugs.
The CIA was very interested in LSD. CIA spook, George Hunter White, who would secretly slip LSD into the drinks of johns, stated, “I was a very minor missionary, actually a heretic, but I toiled wholeheartedly in the vineyards because it was fun, fun, fun. Where else could a red-blooded American boy lie, kill, cheat, steal, rape, and pillage with the sanction and blessing of the All-Highest?” The CIA contacted Dr. Nick Bercel in 1953. They asked him how much LSD it would take for the population of Los Angeles to trip out. Bercel, however, found that chlorinated water neutralized LSD. The CIA, of course, moved on to more potent drugs like 3-Quinuclidinyl Benzilate.
The military and the CIA were also testing Phenylcyclohexyl Piperidine (PCP), also known on the streets as Angel Dust. Since the CIA was behind the push of LSD on the streets, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see how PCP made it onto the streets (how about crack cocaine?). “According to a 1968 FBI memorandum, Jerry Garcia, the leader of the Grateful Dead, was used ‘to channel youth dissent and rebellion into more benign and non-threatening directions.’” “The first member of the Grateful Dead to take LSD, Robert Hunter, did so under the auspices of a ‘government sponsored’ Stanford University drug study.” Michael Hollingshead, who has been linked to British Intelligence, also turned many English rock stars onto LSD. During this time, the CIA created radical student organizations that were run by undercover agents. Indeed, the CIA funded and controlled the National Student Association.
Perry Raymond Russo testified on March 16, 1967, before a New Orleans court. He said that he witnessed David Ferrie, Claw Shaw, and a man named Leon Oswald, plotting to kill John F. Kennedy. Ferrie stated that they would use a triangle cross-fire pattern. Ferrie remarked that one of the three shooters would be a scapegoat for the other two. “On Nov. 22, 1963, Permindex oversaw the successful assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, as EIR has documented in its book Dope Inc.” Permindex was an undercover intelligence assassination bureau, a “network of protected killers whose actions have irreversibly shaped the course of history for the last two decades.” It appears that Permindex, the FBI, and the Defense Intelligence Agency collaborated to kill JFK. It looked to be very well orchestrated, with high level officials in the know. It sounds like JFK’s actions ticked off some very powerful people in Britain, thus his fate was sealed. The assassination seems to have been a joint British and American intelligence operation. Obviously, Lee Harvey Oswald was the patsy.
Trauma-based mind control is extremely effective. It can also be used on the general population. COVID-19 is a prime example: many were conditioned to except authoritarian measures. With some economic trauma, our world will soon accept digital biometric IDs, CBDCs, social credit scores, and universal basic income. From JFK to 9/11, to COVID-19 and onward, to where no man has gone before! So how was American society affected by the murder of JFK? The years following, the crime rate more than doubled. It obviously caused a demoralization of American society. Many people did not believe the official story. An American President was assassinated in public for all to see, yet the information about this heinous act was kept secret (classified). Really!?! “Its purpose was to shock the American consciousness into a near-comatose state for reprogramming.”
In one form of mind control, they will force the subject to repeatedly watch snuff films and other immoral acts. This is to desensitize them. The more desensitized a person becomes, the more immoral a person becomes. The more immoral a person becomes, the more jaded a person becomes. The more jaded a person becomes, the easier they are to manipulate and control. It’s easier to make an immoral person more corrupt. They half-blindly become complicit in the lusts of their own deceit. As the Bible states, they deceive others, while they themselves are being deceived. They have been executing a softer version of this on the public. The entertainment we have been fed has promoted nudity, sex, drugs, and violence. Indeed, society has become willfully ignorant and complicit. Today’s society has been desensitized to the point of accepting eugenics: birth control, abortion, and euthanasia. Today’s society has become so sexually immoral and hedonistic that many are okay with sexually grooming children in schools and libraries. Many in Gen Z have become nihilistic and apathetic, dropping out of life. Many in Gen Alpha can’t read and are addicted to doom scrolling. Society is being conditioned to be a bunch of zombies—blank slates.
Cognitive warfare is a hyper-personalized targeting of an individual, using information and cognitive techniques. It is aided by datamining, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. Cognitive attacks are used to sidestep the conscious mind, which is rational, and instead, they target the hidden emotions of the subconscious. “Psychology often suggests that only about 5–10% of the mind is conscious, while 90–95% operates at the subconscious level.” The goal is to target the subconscious mind, particularly the Amygdala. The Amygdala is part of the limbic system, which “acts as a central hub for sensory integration and emotional processing.” The Amygdala links emotions to memories, learning, and senses. Cognitive warfare is used to alter the perception of reality. It is used to deceive the brain, thus manipulating the decision-making processes. Social media can be used to weaken cognitive abilities. Its content can easily stir up emotions, causing people to react quickly. Social media can be used to datamine personal information. Smart devices can also be used to collect information such as blood pressure, heart rate, and hours of sleep. This information can then be used to target individuals at an opportune time. Like when they are tired or hungry, stressed or angry. Digital spaces create echo chambers, causing individuals to focus on certain narratives. This can create a hivemind effect, which results in polarization and distrust. The fast pace of social media, means there is less time to think. This tends to cause people to follow the narrative without question. They accept whatever seems to line up with their viewpoints or beliefs or their group. This creates lazy thinkers. People then start to delegate their thinking to “influencers,” experts, or artificial intelligence. Those with poor literacy or critical thinking skills are most susceptible. A fragmented society, which lacks social interaction, is also more susceptible to cognitive warfare.
Sirhan Sirhan, who killed Robert F. Kennedy, definitely looks like a CIA tool. If one puts together witness testimonies of Sirhan before the assassination, it becomes obvious that CIA agents were with Sirhan, and that they were running him through the assassination process. “Although the witness could not identify who was talking, she heard the words ‘Kennedy,’ and ‘Get in the car, we have to get him tonight,’ as well as ‘Don’t want to,’ and ‘Afraid.’” Sirhan was seen drawing out a map of the hotel—some kind of floor plan. Dr. Bernard Diamond, a psychiatrist who examined Sirhan under hypnosis, asked him about some weird entries in his notebook. Diamond asked him, “Is this crazy writing?” Sirhan wrote, “YES YES YES.” Diamond asked, “Are you crazy?” Sirhan replied, “NO NO.” Diamond reiterated, “Well, why are you writing crazy?” Sirhan answered back, “PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.” Diamond questioned him, “Practice for what?” Sirhan wrote, “MIND CONTROL MIND CONTROL MIND CONTROL.” Seven years after the assassination, a Psychological Stress Evaluator (PSE)—a device used to detect and measure stress levels through voice analysis—was used to analyze Sirhan’s voice during interviews that he had had with psychologists. An expert in the field said, “I’m convinced that Sirhan wasn’t aware of what he was doing. He was in a hypnotic trance when he pulled the trigger and killed Senator Kennedy... Everything in the PSE charts tells me that someone else was involved in the assassination—and that Sirhan was programmed through hypnosis to kill RFK. What we have here is a real live ‘Manchurian Candidate.’” Dr. John W. Heisse, Jr., president of the International Society of Stress Analysis, stated: “Sirhan kept repeating certain phrases. This clearly revealed he had been programmed to put himself into a trance. This is something he couldn’t have learned by himself. Someone had to show him and teach him how. I believe Sirhan was brainwashed under hypnosis by the constant repetition of words like ‘You are nobody. You’re nothing. The American dream is gone’ until he actually believed them. At that stage someone implanted an idea, ‘Kill RFK,’ and under hypnosis the brainwashed Sirhan accepted it.” Dr. Herbert Spiegel, a hypnotist, remarked, “It’s very possible to distort and change somebody’s mind through a number of hypnotic sessions. It can be described as brainwashing because the mind is cleared of its old emotions and values which are replaced by implanting other suggestions... This technique was probably used with Sirhan. From my own research, I think that Sirhan was subjected to hypnotic treatment.” “As in the case of Sirhan Sirhan, James Earl Ray, Lee Harvey Oswald, David Berkowitz and others, there would be no trial.”
It looks like James Earl Ray, who killed Martin Luther King Jr., was under mind control. David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam (Son of Uncle Sam?) killer, said, “I am on a different wave length than everybody else—programmed to kill.” Mark David Chapman, who killed John Lennon, looks like he may have been under mind control. Timothy McVeigh, who was involved in the Oklahoma City bombing, said that he had been implanted with a microchip and believed that he was under mind control. Many times in the past, when hypnosis and drugs were used for mind control, the person was given a secret microchip implant. Even with today’s Voice-to-Skull technology, some victims are also given a secret microchip implant. “It is likely that most of the mass shooting events are orchestrated by the CIA and FBI, using the techniques developed under the CIA’s MK-Ultra program.”
Remember Jim Jones and the Jonestown massacre? Jones established the first People’s Temple in Ukiah, California. Some of his top lieutenants were connected to intelligence agencies. While in Brazil, Jim Jones told his Brazilian neighbours that he was working with Navy Intelligence and that his house and food were supplied by the U.S. Embassy. Jones regularly visited the city of Belo Horizonte, where the headquarters of the CIA was located in Brazil. George Philip Blakey “is reported to have been a CIA operative and to have run mercenaries out of Jonestown, supplying forces to the CIA-backed UNITA in Angola. Blakey is reported to have made the original $650,000 deposit on the land in Guyana that was to become Jonestown.” The Unification Church of Reverend Sun Myung Moon also had ties to intelligence. It had 600 front groups. Reverend Moon also purchased the Washington Times.
The Finders group was another American intelligence cult-like group. The Washington City Paper reported that “the Finders constantly walk the streets, following people home and taking extensive notes and pictures.” Law enforcement raided their warehouse and found that the Finders where running an international child trafficking operation. They would respond to news paper ads for babysitters and tutors, so they could gather information. They also collected vast amounts of data on numerous child care organizations. In their warehouse, they had a place where they could produce videos. They were possibly producing pornography. They had a place in the warehouse that seemed to be a training area for children. This area also had jars of urine and feces and what appeared to be an altar.
During the cold war, the Russians and Americans were using low frequencies to bombard the ionosphere. This irradiation of the upper atmosphere is what most likely created the hole in the earth’s ozone layer. The Russians, with their Russian Woodpecker broadcasts, were the first to use this technology. The Americans, however, used frequencies less dangerous than the Russians. The Russians used 10 Hertz, while the Americans used 30 Hertz. This Nikola Tesla technology, which they were using, could also cause earthquakes and hurricanes; it could control the weather (even in space); it could also be used for mind control. The 1974 earthquake in Tangshan, China, was quite possibly caused by the Russians. The New York Times reported that before the first tremor the sky lit up like daylight. The sky became multi-hued—white and red. Tree leaves burned and vegetables scorched. This light was seen approximately 200 miles away. The American’s built HAARP, estimated to be 72,000 times more powerful than the next most powerful radio transmitter. “HAARP broadcasts at the same frequencies as those of the human brain.” HAARP was turned on at the time of the Lytton fire, which burned the town to the ground. During this time, Lytton recorded the highest temperature ever recorded in Canada. The next day, the wildfire started that burned down Lytton. Climate change? Lahaina fire? Drought, flooding, and fires? Directed Energy Weapons? Chemtrails? Agenda 21? Get the people off the land? New World Order agenda? Ultimate control?
The CIA and other intelligence agencies target individuals with Directed Energy Weapons and Voice-to-Skull technology. Voice-to-Skull technology is used to stimulate the Cochlear, which is part of the inner ear. This remotely projects sound into the ear using certain frequencies. The CIA tries to drive their victims crazy. They use verbal abuse to demoralize them. They use piercing frequencies, which cause immense mental anguish. There is no relief from these sounds, which also haunts the targets at night. They use sleep deprivation to break their victims down. They use frequencies that cause intense physical pain. They can fine-tune the torment, in order to make the suffering as unbearable as possible. Today’s technologies can remotely monitor brainwaves, alter brainwaves, alter behavior, project sound into the brain, project pictures into the brain, target organs in the body, and cause pain anywhere in the body. They can also alter DNA, and control bioelectric and biochemical processes. They tap into the victim’s subconscious, using their memories against them. They view a person’s thoughts in real time. They have better access to what is in the victim’s head than the victims themselves. The victims can converse with their antagonists merely by thinking of what they would like to say. They have no privacy; their inner thoughts and their inner dialogue are fully known. They know all that the person has experienced in life, even forgotten memories, because the perpetrators have total access to their brain. These psychopaths can strip them of all their energy, putting them into a zombie-like state. They can make their victims chronically depressed. And the list goes on and on and on! One’s own mind and body can be transformed into a torture chamber, where there is no escape. Microwaves can be used to make people insane. They can turn people into vegetables. They can even kill people.
These targeted individuals are tracked by satellites; there is no escape for them. The government uses GPS Block III satellites, which are manufactured by Lockheed Martin, to track and attack these individuals. Raytheon KTech, with its 2010 sales of $25 billion, and 72,000 employees worldwide, is working on the next generation of these microwave weapons. Raytheon is also upgrading the Operational Control System software for the ground station operators at Schriever Space Force Base. This system controls all of the GPS satellites that track and attack targeted individuals. AT&T is also being used to track and attack United States citizens. 5G anyone? Again, these satellite and cell tower weapons are controlled from Schriever Space Force Base near Colorado Springs.
What kind of mind control will be done under transhumanism, with its use of nanorobotics, nanosensors, genetic engineering, synthetic DNA, and brain-computer interfaces? These technologies will be capable of fully controlling perception, cognition, and actions. It will bring mind control to a whole other level. Mark of the Beast, baby! Eugenics: humans are expendable! Mind control: humans are expendable! Transhumanism: humanity is expendable! Mankind has crossed many lines that should not have been crossed. For this reason, there will be hell to pay. You reap what you sow! The Georgia Guidestones: Maintain humanity below 500 million in perpetual balance with nature.
According to the Bible, the three most foolish groups to walk the earth are these: 1) Those who mated with fallen angels and in turn were destroyed by the flood. 2) Those who take the Mark of the Beast and in turn are destroyed when Christ returns. 3) Those who follow satan at the end of the millennial reign of Christ and in turn are destroyed by fire. These groups get progressively dumber. In our day, we are seeing some of the most wicked and foolish people to ever walk the earth. “Professing to be wise, they became fools.” However, things will get much worse. In the Tribulation Period, the mind controlled zombies will worship the Beast and his AI Image! They will receive Brave New World soma frequencies to their brains.
Matthew 24:21-22 “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”

Back story
My name is irrelevant to whoever would be reading this, I only tell it to those I care for and there are very few people I care for. Though I was given the codename Nexus to go by, the link between that of machine and man. I’ve had a troubled past, my Mum died when I was born and my Dad… Well he’s a jackass. He spent all his money on whatever booze he could get meaning we lived in what I would call a shack that was falling apart at the seams. The man kept me locked in my room except for school, if I was late home, which I almost always was he beat me. He told me that I was a failure that he was stuck with and legally obliged to look after me. He even referred to me as his ‘Daughter’ because of who I liked, I’d come out as gay when I was thirteen and that didn’t sit well in where I lived. The place was fool of religious gats who claimed I was broken and needed to be fixed, me and Conner that was. And if I wasn’t getting beat up at home it was at school. The guys were a bunch Homophobes afraid of the different. I guess this is what inspired me to start training myself. I began to build myself up and train. I was sick of being treated like trash. I first discovered my unusual ability when walking home one day. The televisions in the store window caught my eye on my route to the shack. Breaking News was spelt in big red letters up in the corner and I saw some type of earthquake event that had torn apart Gotham. Cataclysm. I placed my hands on the windows trying to hear the muffled sound through the glass. I felt a jolt spring through me and leave out my fingertips. The televisions exploded outwards shards of glass flying everywhere, sending me to the ground and the person who had been standing next to me. I had to be given twenty six stitches in one arm; I’d almost pierced an artery. Dad had a fit, he’d claimed I’d put us back by too much money and beat me close to death. I had to go back to Hospital, that idiot. As I was otherwise incapacitated I decided to find out what had happened at the electronics store and what the jolt of power was. I didn’t find anything out. I couldn’t even replicate the situation. It took me two months to heal. Plus the added time it took me to get over the added attacks. But I only had to suffer for a half a year. That’s when I ran away. Of course I was going to miss some people. There was Conner of course. I’ll be back for him; I just had to find out a few things. I didn’t give up on trying to stay fit and decided that if I was on my own I’d need some kind of weapon to protect myself. I’d heard that Nightwing fellow used some kind of batons to fight. They looked fun to use. I used the library computers to look at some footage of Nightwing in action and where I could find those, what I believe is called Escrima Sticks. Then I felt that jolt. Damn. The computers and lights blew out sending sparks and shards all over the place and causing the library to go dark. Again, this had happened so many times since I’d left. It was becoming more and more frequent. I ran, I couldn’t afford to be charged with damage repair. Though I wouldn’t know who would charge a sixteen year old in a hoody I didn’t know. Then they found me, the organization Mockingbird. They’d taken interest in me since the event at the electronics store. They took me off the streets and bundled me into a van. Of course I screamed and kicked, but they overpowered me and I suddenly felt myself go limp. They’d drugged me. The next thing few events were a blur but next I remember I was in a poorly lit room with huge lights blinding me. A silhouette of a man appeared in front of the flood lights. He asked me my name. I stayed silent. He said it didn’t really matter if I never spoke to him at all, he had my file. All he needed to know was in their. He went on to explain that I was one of many like me. I was what was called a Nexus. The first Nexus. He said that twenty years ago Mockingbird was created to make a person capable of communing with electronics and machines. They attempted to do such a thing with cell alterations. Sixteen years ago the experiment was put into action and what people thought was a new type of influenza shot held the genetic material that would change the firstborn of whoever was injected with it. Unfortunately the side effect was that the woman was born to die in childbirth. I was the first person to activate my altered DNA and alert them that we were beginning to come online. At first they kept there distance incase their machinery had a surge of power and it was just false data. They said they needed me to find the others. That I was the ‘Nexus Prime.’ And that’s how I became the agent Nexus, the only teenager working for a sub division of the Government, legally that is, sort of. I of course needed a little training before they let me out of the facility. It helped that I’d kept in shape. And I finally got those Escrima sticks, and they double as a Bo staff. I ended up working with the agent who’d come to see me in their interrogation room. He’s called Finch. How ironic. Of course I was reluctant at first to jump on there band wagon and I tried to escape several times. Though I had nowhere better to go, I was pissed that from birth I had been engineered for the life I had and will have. I was never to have a mother, I was supposed to work with them that I was supposed to help them find other people like me and ruin their lives too. I had to ask why. Why they created us anyway. Finch only said that they would need us for something. He never said what. So you could see why I had a hard time trusting these people, though the vague comments and cold comfort grew on me. Strange as that may seem I started to enjoy myself. I got to be what people my age dream of being, a superhuman. Though I’m still not at total comfort with what they did, I’m just going to have to live with it. I’d promised myself I’d go back for Conner, though it took two years of trust building and training to get there but I did in the end. He was happy enough to see me to say the least. He got an apartment in the closest city to Mockingbird base and I visited him as often as I could. It was tough on him. I had even told him he needed to move on with his own life and find someone else other than me and have a normal life. I was in serious trouble for telling an outsider about what I do and Finch threatened to kill him if I told anyone else or if he blabbed. He didn’t blab. And that’s the short and rather depressing story of how I became who I am. I’m still not completely happy with how this all turned out but hey, I’m a superhero in my own right and my powers are still growing. I’ve been able to tell machines to change or do things without making them explode, so that’s a bonus. This is why I am Nexus, the link between man and machine.

Just opposite Green Park and having past Hyde Park Corner this is probably one of the more scenic parts of the Service 38 diagram, and also the most photogenic - eh well if you don't mind climbing over what amounts to a dual carriageway's central reservation (I knew my swimmer's body would come in handy somewhere on my hols this year!).
Under the Union Jack we can salute Boris Johnson's brainwave even if it is just a bit pricey (promise I won't mention that again)! This is Hybrid number 4 and the first of the newer registration plates LT12 DHT.
Smooth diagonals, aligned evenly and the Z effect combined with soft curves all make for an appealing image and from this angle I give the design 10 out of10 - another winner from Wrightbus.
The new design features two doors, an open rear platform and two staircases.Unlike the original standard RM Routemaster used in central London, the new bus has a conventional full front end and a rear platform that can also be a closed door when not needed, but the open platform seems to be the preferred norm.
The new layout allows it to be operated by one person at off-peak times, but a conductor is required for those boarding at the rear end between bus stops.

The Singing Butler is a painting by Jack Vettriano.
It is a painting i have admired for some time.
I wanted to get a print of it to hang at home,
but then had the brainwave to recreate it instead.
This was taken on the beach at Blackrock at low tide.
The models are all friends of mine.
It is far more rewarding having a picture on my wall that i created,
with people i know,
rather than having somebody else's painting.
I’ve often heard it said that everything’s connected. Right now I’m noticing how every little domestic job is connected to umpteen others. I set out to do one job and find umpteen others have somehow gotten between me and the intended task in hand!
I stood earlier in the utility room, about to get going on the shoe cleaning duties when another job snuck its way in … ‘How many shoes does a man need?’ Maybe it’s time to let go of numerous pairs of partly worn shoes we’ve got stored on racks in some subconscious attempt to outdo Amilda de Marcos.
Dad used to manage perfectly well with just two pairs of shoes. A black pair and a brown pair. His shoes were specially made for him due to his war wounds you know! In his case, both his feet were badly crushed in an RAF wartime accident involving a Short Stirling bomber and a crash landing. And so, the memory of his shoe cleaning routine and his use of brown for weekends and black for weekdays, comes back to remind me of leaner days long past.
Again, subconsciously, I’ve mostly, for the past twenty years, had a brown and a black pair of shoes on the go, though the brown ones hardly get a look in. These days on the catwalk of life, (Give us a twirl Anthea!) I’m mostly sporting black Solavair Gibson shoes, these latest ones being the 10th pair I’ve owned. ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ seems to make good sense.
Carol on the other hand … well let’s just say that she likes shoes and whilst my brainwave of letting go of my old shoes to create some much needed ‘useful’ space seemed great at the time, it’s instantly overtaken by the realisation that the space will simply make way for more of M’ Ladyships shoes. On the plus side, shoe shining duty also equates to a cup of tea and a spot of Radio 4.
And … he notices, as yet another connection connects itself to his constantly open connectors … I do love the radio. Mostly Jazz on Radio 3 or nearly everything on Radio 4. I’ve also got my eyes on an old World Band radio, a Grundig 3400 ideally. A radio so clever it can transport you around the world or back in time to teenage days of Radio Caroline or Radio Luxembourg, well almost.
Anyway, as Mum used to often say from the command and control centre of her favourite chair, “It’s no good, this isn’t getting anything done!”
So, on that determined note, I’d better get to it and finish shining those shoes!
TTFN
No! It isn’t that.
Merely short term memory loss. Sometimes I can’t remember what I had for dinner the night before and sometimes, because I can be posing anywhere, which means sometimes I forget where I am and I have a need to go looking for myself. If I ever get totally lost ….. woe is me.
Brainwave …… Just go looking for the where the camera is and guaranteed I will be there.
Easy peasy!
because of not all my shots not working as I planned on my recent trip to the beach at Point Lonsdale, Victoria, I decided to have a good hard think about my workflow practices & came up with a bit of a brainwave solution to some dynamic range issues i've been experiencing of late that have been getting me down.
So I took some time out on my way home to catch some brackets & have just processed my first image using this refined technique. & I'm very happy. I think i've squeezed a bit more sharpness & better colour rendering out of the final image due to this cleaner method of catching the extremes of dynamic range.
Best brainwave in my liiiiife ;D
This is Gemma, but my balloons and my hoodie. :)
I found the most gorgeous Hollister jacket, but I'm not made of money, so I can't afford the £94 for the jacket plus the £20 p&p :( going to have to save up a load.
+2 in comment.
I picked up the Batman jet-ski set today, but had a brainwave so re-purposed another into a Robin version. (I also swapped out the front of the batcycle on batman's jet-ski to take advantage of the sticker)

p.s. A massive thank you all for the views, comments and favourites over the last 1500 images of my adventures in uglyworld set (or what should simply be known as the story of the little guys life here with us on Earth), 1500 images, I can't believe it myself!!!
It's all your feedback on Flickr, the Adventures In Uglyworld blog, Facebook, Google+, and so many other websites out there that makes this so much more fun to do for myself and Mireille! You guys inspire us to continue, so here's to the next 500 images...!!!

Sole's sleeping out in the open now but when I came home, earlier in the day, he was nowhere to be found. Our home is less than 1100 sq ft and I looked for him in every single square foot. The only conclusion I could come to was that he slipped outside one of the times I left the house. But then I got the brainwave to call him ... not by calling SOLE but BABY KITTY. He comes to BABY KITTY. I still don't know where he was hiding but he showed up licked y split. Phew!
The message from a Flickr Friend late last week read, “A nesting Banded Dotterel family have been sighted. I’m going to look for them tomorrow if you’re interested!”
I was interested, but couldn’t really justify the price of Petrol (which has been as much as $0.25 a litre higher than normal for several weeks), and anyway (as it happened): Saturday dawned very wet, very windy and very cool; it was not a good day to go searching for a family of birds…!
However, Sunday evening, I had a brainwave (It happens sometimes!): Public Transport wouldn’t cost me anything now that I was a Senior Citizen with a Government-issued Gold Card! So guess who was at the at the local railway station at 9am with his Gold Card at the ready, and a back-pack loaded with camera gear???
Upon arriving at the Site, I found the Family – or at least one of the adults – very quickly, and so very quietly approached the lone bird – very careful to keep a very respectful distance between it and me. Sitting down, I noticed a chick searching for snacks who was a bit closer than expected – or at least it was until its parent gave a shrill cry, and in a flash it was gone. And that, I thought, was that…
However, to my surprise, and after only a few minutes, the adult moved much closer, and after about half an hour, gave another shrill cry and the chick appeared again! (I'd obviously passed some sort of test!).
Two hours after first arriving, yet another shrill cry split the air, the chick disappeared again, and this time the adult flew off... The Photo Shoot was over and it was time to go home, but it had been a unique experience… and as a bonus, I had something like 150 photos in the camera!
In closing, thanks to my Flickr friend Paul who visited the family in the midst of Saturday’s storm and who alerted me to the Dotterel family… and I’m sorry Paul but I definitely got the better weather: clear blue skies, warm sunshine, and just a pleasant breeze!
Thanks so much for visiting my Site, and thanks especially for taking the time and trouble to leave a Comment; it's always nice to hear from you...!

Orange Ice-Bat had mysteriously gone missing over the last few days, so before leaving for work this morning I decided to try and find him (I was getting worried that he wouldn't be able to find food for himself and could end up starving while I'm working long days).
I searched high and low (with the help of several other Uglies) and we couldn't find him anywehere, so Babo had the brainwave (as always) to have everyone stand perfectly still and silent.
Feint sounds of "nom, nom, nom" could be heard from the kitchen, so we silently crept upstairs and found Orange Ice-Bat inside a tub of peach sweeties. When he began to feel like a goldfish inside it's bowl due to us all staring at him, he popped the lid open and said "wassssssup" to which Babo replied, "Alls is ok's with you?". "Yup, just nom'ing on some nom nom's".
At least we managed to find the little guy and make sure he was ok.

Ah. It's finally there! The last pieces!
I have to say that I saved the best for last, but not really on purpose. When I look back the chair/table-combination is one of my favorites, the storagerack is one of the most realistic looking pieces and I love the showcase for it's simplicity. I hope you guys feel the same!
I can hear you say: is it over? Is.. Is it? (add dramatic music). Yes! Nomnomnomnooom. Well, maybe if I get a little more time than I got the last weeks, there might be a chance that you'll get a little Grand Finale. But only a little one!
Thanks for watching and keep bricking!

I made a JALKOW collection, last year, in sort of homage to John's photostream and his JOHN Collection: the concurrent of the JOHN Collection. 'Not expensive, yet not cheap!'
So, big credits go to John and his trust.
This year, I had another brainwave, with lots of chairs and tables, so here it is: the JALKOW collection 2.
I dont usually take my macro kit on holiday with me, its bulky and gets in the way also i'm completely addicted to it and can get a bit carried away which isn't fair on everyone else. However for our recent trip to Corfu our destination looked so stunning that i decided to take a dslr instead of a little pocket camera for our holiday snaps. Then i had a brainwave and bought a cheap set of close up filters off of amazon my thinking being that they would take up no room at all and when we were out and about if i saw any nice bugs i could quickly screw one on to my 18-55 kit lens take a piccy or two then whip it off into my pocket and carry on with whatever we were doing no harm done everybodies happy, the only thing was i didn't expect brilliant results but they would at least be better than our little ageing Canon sureshot. After a little go or two though i started getting some quite passable shots better than expected for sure and i didn't really get chance to try out all the magnification permutations that they offered sticking to just the one X4 filter. Am i glad i made the effort ! Corfu has some amazing insects i had a great time chasing them and i wasn't even leaving the road all the pics of creatures i got were taken in vegetation by the side of the road, imagine what a proper expedition into the countryside with a serious macro set up would turn up...oh well one of these days......

Character Creation
The Atom is a name shared by five superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics.
The original Golden Age Atom, Al Pratt, was created by writer Bill O'Connor and artist Ben Flinton and first appeared in All-American Publications' All-American Comics #19 (October 1940).
The second Atom was the Silver Age Atom, Ray Palmer, who first appeared in 1961. The third Atom, Adam Cray, was a minor character present in Suicide Squad stories. The fourth Atom, Ryan Choi, debuted in a new Atom series in August 2006. Another Atom from the 853rd Century first appeared as part of Justice Legion Alpha in August 1999.
The Atom has been the star of multiple solo series, and four of the five have appeared as members of various superhero teams, such as the Justice Society of America, the Justice League, the Suicide Squad, and the Justice Legion Alpha.
Publication history
The Atom introduced during the Silver Age of comic books in Showcase #34 (1961) is physicist and university professor Raymond Palmer, Ph.D.
After stumbling onto a mass of white dwarf star matter that had fallen to Earth, he fashioned a lens which allowed him to shrink down to subatomic size.
Originally, his size and molecular density abilities derived from the white dwarf star material of his costume, controlled by mechanisms in his belt, and later by controls in the palms of his gloves. Much later, he gained the innate equivalent powers within his own body.
After the events of Identity Crisis, Ray shrank himself to microscopic size and disappeared. Finding him became a major theme of the Countdown year-long series and crossover event.
Fictional Character History
Silver Age
Raymond Carson "Ray" Palmer, is a physicist and professor at Ivy University in the fictional city of Ivy Town, somewhere in New England, specializing in matter compression as a means to fight overpopulation, famine and other world problems. Using a mass of white dwarf star matter he finds after it lands on Earth, Palmer fashions a lens that enables him to shrink any object to any degree he wishes. Compression destabilizes an object's molecular structure, however, causing it to explode.
During a spelunking expedition, Palmer and his students, along with his girlfriend, lawyer Jean Loring, find themselves trapped in a cave. In desperation, Palmer secretly uses the lens he has carried with him to shrink himself to be able to climb through a small opening in the fallen rocks sealing the cave, knowing he will likely explode. Using a diamond engagement ring, Palmer enlarges the hole sufficiently and descends to the floor to try to alert the others of the escape route before dying. However, upon entering the lens' beam, he finds himself returned to normal size and without danger of exploding. As the lens is covered with cave moisture, Palmer believes this has altered the beam to allow this strange effect.
When subsequent experiments still result in objects exploding, Palmer concludes some unknown force in his own body allows him to safely size-shift. He decides to use this effect to become a superhero. A retcon in Brightest Day: The Atom Special (July 2010) removes the influence of his exotic physical makeup, tying his survival instead to the discovery of a compression matrix, a fabric able to spread the effects of the ray on the entire body, stabilizing it. The prototype matrix later became his costume.
Palmer creates a belt tool to control his miniaturization to subatomic size with an emergency backup mechanism in his gloves, and develops a costume that he can wear at most times that only becomes visible when he shrinks significantly. In addition, he develops equipment that allows him to decrease his weight in addition to his size, allowing him to glide on air currents on a low setting, while a high setting allows him to handle or strike objects with the equivalent strength of his normal size and build. A favorite travel method is to call some location on the telephone and when the phone is answered, Palmer can shrink enough to travel through the phone lines in seconds to emerge out the answering phone.
He carries out the bulk of his early superheroic adventures in Ivy Town, where he often helps his girlfriend, Jean Loring, win her cases. Much later, he gains the innate equivalent powers within his own body.
Palmer has fought against several alien and supernatural threats, as well as having his own rogues gallery, including Chronos, the Bug-Eyed Bandit, the Floronic Man, and the Bat-Knights of Elvaran. He also had several time travel adventures by means of Professor Alpheus V. Hyatt's Time Pool. The Atom is a member of several incarnations of the Justice League, and the team is gracious enough to supply a special chair scaled to his default size which can elevate to whatever height needed so he can easily partake in team meetings without having to go out of costume.
There, he meets Hawkman (Katar Hol pre-Hawkworld, Carter Hall post-Hawkworld), one of his closest friends in the superhero community. Neither character achieved major popularity, and even in their heyday were mostly supporting characters, often with Palmer as a specialist in size alteration who was needed to access extremely confined areas only he could access. Hawkman would manufacture prosthetic wings for a myna Ray saved, taking on the name Major Mynah and became the Atom's partner and steed.
Sword of the Atom, Power of the Atom, and Teen Titans
The Atom had one short-lived miniseries and three subsequent specials, all titled Sword of the Atom, in which Palmer abandons civilization after divorcing his wife Jean, who had an affair with fellow lawyer Paul Hoben, and becomes the hero of a tribe of six-inch (152 mm) -tall yellow-skinned humanoid aliens called Morlaidhans in the jungles of South America. He also becomes consort to their princess, Laethwyn. Palmer bequeathes his size-changing belt and role as Ivy Town's protector to Jean's new husband, Hoben. During this time, Palmer's friend Norman Brawler pens the book The Atom's Farewell, in which he reveals Palmer's identity as the Atom.
Eventually the colony is destroyed, despite Palmer's attempt to save it, by a group associated with the US Government acting as loggers. Palmer is forced to escape via the telephone to North America. In the attempt, he fails to anticipate that the connection will involve satellite relay and the unexpectedly arduous trip causes him to remain at approximately three feet high and without his costume's size changing equipment.
With the help of a friend, Ray creates a new costume from the material of the white dwarf star. This time, instead of a belt, Palmer uses an encephalotronic grid in the costume's headpiece to control the costume. The grid is keyed to his unique brainwaves. This enables him to transfer his mass into an unknown dimension which allows him to alter his size and weight just by thinking about it. He can even make the new costume appear or disappear with a thought by shifting most of its atoms to or from the other dimension. This allows him to be in costume while at full height or to shrink without having to have his costume appear.
He can even increase his weight while remaining six inches (152 mm) tall or reduce his weight while remaining at full size. Ray often does this and is then light enough to ride wind currents, where he actually appears to be flying to a limited degree. Palmer also develops a mental link with the white dwarf matter to which he has been regularly exposed. Most of the mass lies within another dimension. Ray can draw upon that mass and hit with a super-concussive force. He has been shown to punch through concrete walls, crush an exam table and break the axle of a car that is moving at high speed.
Palmer would learn of those behind the genocide of the Morlaidhans, namely five CIA operatives, part of a group called the Cabal. In a mission called Operation: Fireball, the tiny aliens were murdered in hopes Ray would return as the Atom and become a tool for the Cabal (as Ray worked for the CIA in his earlier years). Instead, Palmer shrank the five agents to six-inch height and the CIA would employ them as a group called Micro/Squad.
The Atom would take on new enemies during this period, such as Humbug, a sentient robot in control of an army of duplicates of itself, and Strobe, a technological armor-clad crook. Micro/Squad would also return, attempting to murder Palmer for what he did to them. Instead, teammate Ginsburg dies in the explosion they set and Ray approaches Adam Cray about becoming the new Atom to bring the remaining Micro/Squad into the open. Cray agrees, steals Paul Hoben's size-changing belt, and joins the Suicide Squad.
The plan works as the villains emerge and Palmer takes the place of operative Sting; but their leader, Blacksnake, kills Cray and takes the belt for himself, returning to normal height. Blacksnake murders the remaining members of his crew as Ray arrives, revealing himself, posing as Sting, and battles him. After Blacksnake is defeated, the Cabal employs Task Force X II to murder him to protect their secrets.
Later, during the events of Zero Hour, Palmer is rejuvenated to a teenage state and develops the ability to grow in height in addition to his previous abilities, all of which he was capable of controlling innately without using his white dwarf star-based equipment. He becomes field leader of a new group of Teen Titans, composed of hybrids of human beings and the H'San Natall, after a chance meeting with Isaiah Crockett on his first day attending Ivy University.
As a former member of the Justice League, Palmer viewed his affiliation with the Teen Titans as a step backward. The group primarily battled the Veil, an anti-alien organization that employed Deathstroke and Dark Nemesis, but it's revealed that their leader Pylon was actually a H'San Natall. They would also face Jugular (hired by the H'San Natall) and Loren Jupiter's son Jarrod, aka Haze.
The Atom's new growth powers were instrumental in the battle against Sekhmet of the Millennium Giants. Ray subsequently regains his original age and memories and loses his new powers after he begins to rapidly age and Waverider has to use DNA taken prior to his rejuvenation to restore him to his original state. Palmer returns to his teaching job at Ivy University, but also becomes an associate and alternate member of the JLA. With his exit from the Teen Titans, the group disbands. One notable student under Palmer was Ronnie Raymond, who, without the assistance of Martin Stein, found difficulty in fully employing his abilities as Firestorm.
Identity Crisis and Countdown
In the 2004-05 limited series Identity Crisis, Jean Loring kills Sue Dibny, the wife of the Elongated Man. After stealing some of the Atom's shrinking technology and his costume, she kills Sue in a misguided attempt to win Palmer back. She also arranges a hit on Tim Drake's father Jack Drake, which is carried out by Captain Boomerang (Digger Harkness). The intent is for Jack to kill some random attacker, but both manage to kill each other. After committing her to Arkham Asylum, Palmer shrinks himself to microscopic size and disappears.
Palmer eventually meets up with his old friend Carter Hall after microscopically traveling through phone lines. He warns Hall of the consequences of mindwiping Batman and of harassing criminals over a crime that is perpetrated by Jean, one of their own. Palmer explains he needs time away, and shrinks himself again after Hall agrees to keep the meeting secret.
His legacy lived on, however. Ryan Choi, a student of physics in Hong Kong who corresponded with Ray Palmer via mail in the past, found a copy of his costume and shrinking device to become the current Atom. Around this same time, an unnamed teenager with powers similar to Palmer joins the Teen Titans under the name Molecule. After a brief tenure with the team, he is later killed during a confrontation with the Terror Titans.
During the missing year, Palmer's technology is employed by Supernova to shrink and grow in size to enter and exit the bottle city of Kandor.
DC Comics would not reveal Palmer's whereabouts since his disappearance at the end of Identity Crisis. However, Palmer returned to play a very important role in the Countdown limited series. A Monitor asks the Source Wall what is the solution to "the great disaster," it answers "Ray Palmer". Subsequently, Kyle Rayner, Donna Troy and Jason Todd scour the Multiverse for the former Atom, who just might hold the key to saving reality from a crisis of unparalleled proportions.
In their travels, the quartet has found people marked with the Atom's familiar symbol. The group tracks Palmer to Earth-51, where he assumes the life of its native Palmer after his life is cut short during his studies of the Multiverse and discovery of the looming Crisis. Meeting the Jean of Earth-51 and the Justice League again for the first time, Palmer is found on a world where the heroes have been able to eradicate supercrime and create a utopian Earth (later revealed to have been the result of this reality's Batman murdering all of this world's super-criminals after the Joker killed Jason Todd).
However, once Kyle, Donna, Jason and Bob the Monitor are able to track him down, Bob attempts to kill Palmer; with the Challengers' help, Palmer escapes and reveals to the Challengers that it was the Ray Palmer of Earth-51 who was meant to stop the Great Disaster and that he had been trying to carry on his work, to no avail.
When the Challengers return to their own Earth, Jimmy Olsen is kidnapped by Mary Marvel, who has been corrupted by Darkseid. Palmer hitches a ride from within Jimmy. When Darkseid takes control of Jimmy's powers, Palmer locates and shuts down the control sphere inside Jimmy's brain, but is then swarmed by Apokoliptian antibodies. While escaping this onslaught, Palmer discovers the "battery" containing the New God spirit energies. Palmer removes it from Jimmy's head and shatters it, releasing the energy.
Palmer later (after much cajoling) joins Donna, Kyle, and Forager in their new mission as border guards to the Multiverse, realizing that there is nothing left for him on Earth. However, Palmer returns home to New Earth one more time, upon realizing that his old nemesis Chronos had taken his identity to mislead a young pretender to his identity, Ryan Choi. After helping his successor to once again save Ivy Town, he returns to the Multiverse with a new sense of fulfillment, leaving his town in the hands of a new, capable hero.
During the Final Crisis, Palmer returns to New Earth and works with Choi again to aid in the efforts to evacuate the last free humans.
In the Justice League: Cry for Justice mini-series, Palmer joins Hal Jordan's Justice League.
Blackest Night
On the night of the superhero's memorial day, Palmer asks Hawkman to visit Jean's grave to be honored as a fallen member of the community, but Hawkman refuses because of what she did in Identity Crisis. Palmer is later shown speaking to Hawkman again, over the phone (unaware that his friend has been killed and reanimated as a Black Lantern). Atom is then invited to visit undead Hawkman to discuss his heartache over his wife.
Palmer is later revealed to have shrunk into Hawkman's ring, escaping certain death. Joining the battle between Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, and the Black Lanterns, Palmer is set upon by Black Lanterns Ralph and Sue Dibny, who use his guilt over Jean's actions to try to feed on his compassion-filled heart. Palmer is saved from death by the Indigo Tribe, who combine their light with Hal's to destroy the Dibnys and their rings. During the crisis, Palmer was able to deduce with the heroes that the black rings are simulations taking the identities of the deceased and needing to feed. The Indigo Tribe take the heroes to the Hall of Justice, unceremoniously taking Hal Jordan and abandoning the rest when the Black Lanterns renew their attack.
Palmer helps the heroes escape via a phone line, and then brings them to the JSA, who were also being attacked by Black Lanterns. During the crisis, Palmer meets Damage, son of Al Pratt, the first Atom. The two heroes briefly acquainted during the battle, and begin to develop a friendship. Palmer stopped the Black Lantern Pratt from killing Damage, but was unable to keep the reanimated Jean from finishing the job.
Palmer made a futile attempt to stop one of the black rings from turning Damage's corpse into an undead before Jean used his own technology to shrink him, Mera, and herself into Damage's ring. As Palmer and Mera battle Jean inside the black ring, Jean reveals Nekron's plan along showing what is happening at Coast City, as deceased residents and revived heroes arise as Black Lanterns under the demon lord's commands. Deadman witnesses their battle and plans to rescue Palmer and Mera from Jean.
Deadman saves Palmer and Mera by briefly possessing Jean, allowing them to escape and join the heroes against Nekron and his army. During the battle, Palmer is chosen as a deputy officer of the Indigo Tribe to be more effective against Nekron's forces. Although the Indigo Tribe eschews formal uniforms for tribal patterns over simple garments, Ray Palmer's costume is turned into a close approximation of the tattered Sword of the Atom clothing he had used in the past.
Palmer's past is rehashed, showing that he never quite got over Jean, even during the days of Sword of the Atom. Indigo-1 claims that she can teleport the armies of each Lantern Corps onto Earth, if given time to meditate. The responsibility falls to Palmer to protect her while she does so. Before she enters her trance, she reveals to Palmer that the indigo staff and his overwhelming compassion allows him to mimic the other powers of the Lantern Corps; she demonstrates this by temporarily becoming a Red Lantern and vomiting corrosive blood all over an attacking company of Black Lanterns. She then enters her trance, while Palmer fights off Black Lanterns Hawkman and Hawkgirl by temporarily becoming an Orange Lantern, loudly proclaiming "I want my friends back!"
He then summons energy duplicates of Khufu and Chay-Ara to help him fight off his and Indigo-1's attackers. He is briefly successful. But then Jean shows up to torment him, and she leaps into Indigo-1's ring. Palmer follows her. He ends up reliving Sue Dibny's death, and is then attacked by various Black Lantern Morlaidhans, the minuscule race he befriended during Sword of the Atom. He fights them off and, summoning the powers of a Green Lantern, destroys Jean. Indigo-1 manages to summon the various armies and thanks Palmer for his help. He tells her to keep his involvement in the deployment of the troops a secret, and asks that she help him find a way to legitimately resurrect Hawkman and Hawkgirl. In the final battle, Palmer gets his wish when Hawkman and Hawkgirl are resurrected by the Life Entity.
Brightest Day and Adventure Comics co-feature
In July 2010 Ray Palmer had a Brightest Day one-shot that led to a co-feature in Adventure Comics. Written by Jeff Lemire with art by Mahmud Asrar, the co-feature focused on Ray Palmer's early life. For a brief three-issue tenure, Palmer was part of writer James Robinson's new Justice League line-up, but resigned to help his friend Martin Stein with some sort of project. At the start of the Brightest Day event, Ray and Stein are seen at the funeral of Gehenna. When Jason Rusch gets into a confrontation with Ronnie Raymond over Gehenna's death, Ray steps in and tries to stop it. Ray manages to separate Jason and Ronnie from Black Lantern constructs.
Afterward, Ray discovered his father was attacked and the suspect was his own uncle David. With Ray's father in the hospital, Ray discovers his father had a stroke and his investigation of technology had been stolen. He seeks out Oracle to find the Calculator, Oracle manages to trace a data line, and Ray enters through the internet where he then encounters the Calculator and interrogates him to find out the dealers are. However, Calculator creates a room with no oxygen to make Atom's heartrate slower and he attempts to kill the Atom.
Ray manages to grab Calculator and shrinks to return to Oracle's base. While Ray is in remission, he threatens Calculator who tells him that something called the Colony has manipulated Ray. Later, Prof. Hyatt was attacked by the Colony while looking for white dwarf matter. When Ray arrives, he goes to rescue Prof. Hyatt. During the fight, the Colony dies by incineration from the white dwarf matter. Ray calls Oracle to trace the phone line, and while he arrives at the Colony's base he is confronted by the Colony squad.
After failing to avoid detection, he is confronted by Uncle David and with his help, pulls him away from the Colony heading towards the teleporter. Once safe, David tells Ray about the Colony. David also tells Ray that he could not leave and could not work on the projects on his own, he shows Ray how to travel using the astrology orb called the ant farm to see a mini-planet of microscopic nature. But, the Colony followed them to David's hideout and travels to the ant farm Ray then engages them in an epic battle.
After the battle the Colony died from incineration as it did before but, Ray managed to save him using his stable white dwarf matter. Ray demanded to know what they desired and the Colony tells him the same thing, and they transport the ant farm to the Colony's base. He destroys Ray's belt buckle's white dwarf matter and kills himself. Since they cannot return, Ray follows David with a backup plan when suddenly Ray is approached by robotic insects.
David explains that the robotic insects are caretakers. They manage to fix the belt buckle and he returns to normal size when in Colony's base. Failing to escape, Ray is forced by the scientist to bring the white dwarf matter. He shows the monitor renderings where Colony is standing in front of the hospital where is father his and he is going to kill him.
When Ray refused, Hawkman prevents Colony from attacking Ray's father. Ray receives a call from Oracle to trace the monitor renderings, but Hawkman is being attacked by the Colony squad that miniaturize into Hawkman's body. Ray chooses to save Hawkman to leave the Colony's base while the other Colony escapes and kidnaps Ray's father. Ray rescues Hawkman by leaping into a body of the Colony attackers. When Hawkman is recovering, the Colony leaves their message to bring the white dwarf meteor and warned him no tricks, and to bring the meteor to save his family.
While Ray traded the meteor to Colony before the Colony leaves, they exchange it for Ray's family that is in the ant farm. Ray travels into the ant farm and discovers that they planted a nuclear bomb on a vest strapped to David. Ray then manages to save his father and David and shrinks the bomb before it had a chance to detonate. While Ray's father is recovering, Ray reveals to David that he planted the white dwarf meteor into a nano-liquid to make the Colony's headquarters shrink. Ray, David, and Hawkman arrive at the location of the Colony's headquarters to attack their base. After the Colony was defeated however, David tells him there are more Colonies in the area. Later, Ray returns his father home. Ray forgives his father and apologizes for giving him a rough life before he overhears a firefighter rescue service, as he is a capable hero once more.
During this same period, Ray begins an investigation into the disappearance of Ryan, whom unbeknownst to the superhero community, had been murdered by Deathstroke. Ray comforts Ryan's girlfriend Amanda, and muses Ryan may be hiding out like Ray did after the events of Identity Crisis. While he shrinks himself to investigate he discovers microbiology blood. He arrives at the Hall of Justice to tell the League members that Ryan is missing. The League starts to help Ray's investigation to find Ryan's whereabouts. He discovers Ryan's DNA cell is not a match. The DNA cell came to someone else.
Later, Ray discovers evidence that Dwarfstar had a hand in Ryan's death, and vows to find him and make him pay. Ray eventually finds Dwarfstar in a hospital, where he is recovering from the severe injuries he sustained from his torture at the hands of Giganta (Ryan's ex-girlfriend). Believing it may lead to a lighter sentence, Dwarfstar confesses to hiring Deathstroke to kill Ryan. Armed with this knowledge, Ray leaves to inform the Justice League.
Later, he asked Batman (Dick Grayson) to get revenge on Deathstroke for murdering Ryan. Ray and the Justice League arrive to attempt to arrest Deathstroke and the Titans. The Justice League battle against the Titans in Khandaq, where Ray seriously injures Deathstroke for killing his friend. The battle is stopped by Isis, who forces the Justice League to flee to avoid restarting World War III. After failing, Ray begins writing the eulogy for Ryan's funeral, and is comforted by Superman.[54] In the final issue, Ray meets Ryan's friends and family, and gives the speech at his protégé's funeral.
Powers & Abilities
Size Manipulation
Can alter size at will and can alter body mass to deliver sizable blows at a diminutive size. Since he retains his full strength, by rapidly mass-shifting he can leap like a flea. He can also become weightless to glide on breezes. By shrinking to the size of a subatomic particle he can travel through conductive landline wires at the speed of electricity. As previously stated above, he can travel across dimensional barriers.

Image for a child's imagination in a kaleidoscope. The magic will occur when all this will come into motion.
A new addition to my Songlines series, I've been feeling that I'm starting to understand the 'language' of this place now, but was frustrated in not being able to process the images as I wanted (negatives are notoriously difficult and prone to failure). So I had a brainwave in the night, it's always in the night!
I don't bother to record dates these days: I haven't years enough left for the matter to become interesting to me. I merely record the date of processing. I am always eager for results and usually develop a film as soon as I get indoors after taking the final shot. If it's late in the day I may leave it until the next morning ...first thing after breakfast. This is from a film developed on 11th March 2017 and it was the last frame, so was probably exposed on that or the previous day.
It reminds me of all those Spot the Ball competitions that broke out in the newspapers back in the '70s, before they came up with Prize Bingo. I imagine some staff photographer on an unknown rag must have noticed that, in photographs, as here, players are seldom looking directly at the ball, but are instead weighing up its likely trajectory and the positioning of the other players. It was a clever idea for a competition. He mentioned the idea to his editor and it took off. He must have regretted there was no way of patenting his brainwave. I think my father occasionally entered the Bristol Evening Post's version; at least I remember him in his armchair, with his reading specs on, frowning over the week's poser, with his cluster of Xs in blue biro on the photo. You were allowed multiple tries, which gave the illusion of an increased chance of winning.
