Racy braces!
Since my weight loss I find the last hole on my belts still leaves my trousers too lose.
So I've started adding buttons for braces.
Do you know how hard it is to find a store that sells buttons these days?!
the crossbars that the square sails hang from are called yards, and the lines that adjust the positioning of the yards (they swivel around the mast, so as to set the sail for different wind directions) are called braces -- VERY heavy to adjust, so every now and then we'd get the call, "all hands to the braces!!"
the low sunset light made everything look more red than usual, too...
After school, Kendra came over. Her, Andrew, Raymond and I went to wal-mart and to the graffiti wall. She got braces that morning. Then her and I went to Safeway and bought like little ammounts of things and went to Kim's till.We filmed Kim working and then went back to Wal-Mart.Then she had to go home.So she did and I went home.
And talked to Darren for the first time in awhile.
I've had braces for a year. Despite the pain (and it has been painful, sometimes), the difference is astounding.
I have at least one more year left to go.
A boundary wall near Horsehead Gate in the Yorkshire Dales. Pen y Ghent is the hill in the background.
All sizes! Looks like crap without it. Umm, well, I can't say anything about this picture, to prevent spoilers. But it is for a creation of mine.
Anyhow, I got my braces off today! I'm licking my teeth soo much. Maybe I'll upload some pictures of me without them. I get my rutainer (sp?) on Thursday. I can't believe school already starts on Monday! I've been so productive lately in terms of sim pictures. lol.
I know...I missed another day.
ehh oh well, i'm trying.
but AHHH! I got my braces off yesterday.
(picture was taken today though)
E is for...excited!
Now Caffe Nero:
The Tudor Tavern at No 15 Fore Street, Taunton, Somerset, England designated as a Grade I listed building. Built in 1578, the house is three storeys high of a timber-frame construction, with jettied first and second floors. The frontage is of carved bressummers with interlocking curved braces, while the roof is red tiles. There is a medieval hall with an open trussed roof behind the front.
Even this mirror is over 100 years old.
And - this customer looks "past his sell by date".
To what degree was it stage managed that the star of the show was the last balloon to stand up? Whether it was or not, it was a fitting climax to a fantastic morning to see the multicolored hummingbird balloon rise up. It is a big balloon, seeming to dwarf Old Parliament House from this perspective. The white color of Old Parliament House was also the perfect backdrop to the bright colors of this balloon. Looking closely at the crowd, I can see that people were riveted by the sight of this balloon. And nobody left before the hummingbird had lifted off and drifted well out of view.

Explored #308.
Cliche I know, but I'm getting my braces off on wednesday and wanted to show them in a picture.
I'm wearing clothes. My tank top straps are just down.
And this is much more simple than my usual stuff, but I liked the way my processing worked, and the bokeh and the shadows. Yay!
But anyway, thank you braces for making me patient and giving me straight teeth. :D
