This is a painting of another artist who sat for us at Brantwood, Ruskin's Lake District home. I am deeply influenced by Lucian Freud, and I feel this influence emanates from my colours in this painting. It is oil on borad.

This painting is 113 x 60.5 cm on linen, of a young girl from the Rabari tribe in India. I find the colours and the customs of these rich cultures fascinating, both aesthetically and semantically.

This is a painting from my life drawing which explores both the human physique and the psychological experience of being observed in such an intimate way - the depiction of thought process within the figure. It is wood on panel.

Done in brio using only scribbles

A3 pastels portrait (Girl and the Frog Prince)

A3 pastel pencils, Day & Night theme

Marilyn Monroe painting

A portrait for my art GCSE highlighting the child obesity crisis in today's society.

Two portraits of my brother as my final piece for my art GCSE mock. The theme was beneath the surface and I wanted to portray different aspects of my brother's teenage character and look more deeply beneath the surface of a person. I used mix media including, acrylic, brio, pastel and embroidery.

During my last body of work I closely examined various philosophies surrounding existentialism, humanism and the absurd. Initially upon finding Existentialism it stirred a whole range of feelings and a curiosity for life. the more I knew, the more I desire to know. Which led to my first body of work: "A Personal Introduction into Existentialism" I feel this body of work may continue for the rest of my days, but this painting was completled in the following weeks.

Work in progress for my GCSE mock. I used pastel and unconventional colours to heighten the intensity of the image. I later used embroidery to further this and acrylic for the background.
