I never really did try any portraiture with this camera and I was kinda missing taking the big guy's portraits.
Today was warm and he took advantage by taking his shirt off. He wore those infamous pants that people around the world went a bit crazy over.I trimmed his hair soon after I shot this. We headed out for grub picking up Chipotle, Five Guys, and even McDonald's, for the fambam. I had him pause at the door when we got home for a couple attempts at portraits, but I digress.
Basically to help a friend out, I'm pawning off all my Alpha stuff for some cash. So with no photography business in sight, I'm just going back to hobby shooting with my little Oly.
I never really did portraits with this camera so I kinda have to be creative. With the kit lens, it's a lot harder to get the background to blur properly to isolate in a traditional portrait shot. But what a great camera it is for landscapes and architecture. The lines look great and the contrast makes buildings punchy. And the sensor sees the way I do. But the sensitivity range is very limiting. Not very important for me, but I'm sure there will be times I wish I had it.
But for now, photography will be for fun again and nothing more. No attempt at a business for the time being. A200 and A700... I'm going to miss you babies...

Boy Next Door arrived! I said I was done with Adonis Dolls but ended up getting Moonshine Jungle David when he came out but after him, I said I was really done. The quality vs price is not there with these and they all arrive to me with a squished face. I know I can boil the head to reshape it but I shouldn't have to.
Anywho, I was won over with the promise of a new body and Louis Vuitton inspired BEAR ON THE VARSITY JACKET won me over. The Thom Browne inspired bag helped too as I have been wanting IT to do a doggie bag for years and years now but a duck is okay for now.
This doll is advertised as a gift set but he's not? He's just a dressed doll. IT released an actual giftset around this time that I preordered that costs the same and Weekender Lukas REALLY is a gift set so not sure why they used that word. Plus the head's going to need to be boiled....*sigh* Anywho, he is really cute and I can't wait to give the jacket to Misaki or Thiago. <3
