Another Croydon shot featuring the bunting.. The town has always been a great place to live near and the opening of a new Boxpark near here will add some ripples of regeneration.
The new Boxpark opened in Croydon last week, same concept as the Shoreditch one but with the focus firmly on food - and drink. Featuring the Cronx brewery and food from many nations, some you can eat in, or get as take away to sit in the central atrium, it was great dining at a low price for a Saturday lunch. Another kick start for Croydon to add to the creative artsy quarter that is taking off currently...
To get to our Premier Inn, we simply had to leave the Tube station and follow Olympic way towards Wembley Stadium, which you couldn't really miss! Then we had to veer right about the same distance. Although we're not football fans we've seen this view on the TV and it was good to see it for real!
Olympic Way, often incorrectly known as Wembley Way, is the road that links Wembley Park tube station and Wembley Stadium in Wembley Park, London, England. Thousands of spectators walk along it to every event as the road leads directly into the stadium.
Tree clearance at West Sutton station, from a 700 on 1V95 07:44 Bedford - Sutton via Wimbledon. Off to play crazy golf with the kids and have lunch at Croydon Boxpark.
Sometimes you're just lucky... on a Street Photography workshop where we were advised to look for interesting people. This lady with a bright red beret walked past - the hint of blue in her jacket matched perfectly with the Graffiti on the wall.
I really enjoy taking images of bikes, especially if they look a bit old school. This was taken opposite Boxpark in Shoreditch.
