Don’t let the muscle fool you, Loki is pure sunshine and snuggles. Beneath that strong boxer exterior lies the most thoughtful, loving soul you could ever meet. Always ready to play, always making friends, he’s our gentle giant, through and through.
He truly lives up to the man’s best friend title. Seeing him happy and relaxed after a good round of play is my favorite thing. He is the best reminder to always lead with kindness.
Talk about inquisitive! I was standing talking to a neighbour, when next door's Boxer stuck its head over the side fence to see what was going on.

It is more like 40+ years since we left. This is the Old Ark Lodge, where I was born. Our guests mostly skied at Mt. Snow or Haystack. This photo was taken sometime around 1963 by one of my parents. This photo was used as an advertisement for years.

While out for a walk, I met a lovely lady and her dog, and she kindly posed for a photograph.

My Buddy, my Pal, my wonderful dog Grissom has peed on the side of the Rainbow Bridge and has left us. The vet suspects he had a stroke that affected his ability to balance and walk. He was greeted by one of the special golden sunsets we get from time to time. Grissom was closing in on twelve which is near the end of a Boxer dog's average lifespan.
It's whispered that soon, If we all call the tune
then the piper will lead us to reason
and a new day will dawn
for those who stand long
and the forests will echo with laughter
In times of sadness family, friends are pets are crucial. Thank you Hooch for making me pick up the camera x
