Being sensitive doesn't mean you're weak, it just means you're human. Your lack of sensitivity doesn't necessarily make you stronger.
We all have layers to us, different facets to our personalities. If my heart wasn't resilient and really strong, I wouldn't have endured this ocean of pain alongside you for so long. I even considered leaving from the start.
One life, one love, a promise I hold dear, to spend it by your side, with nothing left to fear. I lay bare my soul before you, knowing full well my flaws and shortcomings. I may not be perfect, and I acknowledge that openly. There have been times when my actions faltered, moments of weakness that clouded my judgment.
Yet, if you were to turn and truly see, you would understand the depths of my devotion.
You are the cornerstone of my existence, not merely a solace in times of struggle, but the very essence of challenge and growth in my life.
I don't offer you just my heart to nurture and protect, but my entire being, my whole self surrendered to your mercy.

Beneath the boundless azure dome of heaven, a crystalline lake lies cradled in the embrace of ancient, rugged mountains. Its waters shimmer with a clarity that seems almost ethereal, revealing a mosaic of glistening stones resting in quiet harmony on the lakebed. Each stone, weathered and smoothed by the hand of time, catches the sunlight like scattered jewels, their pale hues contrasting with the deep cerulean expanse above.
The mountains rise majestically, their jagged peaks carved by the relentless whispers of wind and the gentle persistence of snowmelt. Patches of hardy grass cling to the rocky slopes, defying gravity and adversity alike, their golden-green tones offering a soft reprieve to the otherwise austere beauty of the landscape.
Above, the sky is a canvas brushed with the delicate wisps of wandering clouds—feathery trails that seem to drift with a quiet purpose, as though carrying the dreams of the earth below. The air, pure and bracing, hums with silence, broken only by the gentle lapping of the water against the shore, a rhythmic song of timeless serenity.
Here, in this untouched haven, the soul finds a mirror for its loftiest aspirations and its deepest peace. It is a place where nature, unspoiled and infinite, speaks directly to the heart, reminding one of the enduring bond between the earth and the eternal spirit of life.

The approximate distance for our hypothetical jump-through is 27 miles (43 km). Not too far from one another; it's the traffic that will kill you.

From the edge of the North Rim, the canyon spills outward in seemingly infinite layers of light and shadow. This is actually the same view from the Moon Room, but I took the photograph through the window instead of from behind it.
