Al hacer limpieza de archivos del ordenador he encontrado algunas fotos que quedan olvidadas, como ésta de un cruce de calles en el casco antiguo de Puebla de Sanabria, donde destaca esta vivienda con un escudo que hace imaginar que pertenecería a alguna familia importante. Hoy está restaurada, al menos el exterior, y da una idea de la importancia de Puebla de Sanabria como villa medieval.
While cleaning the computer files I have found some photos that are forgotten, like this one of a street intersection in the old town of Puebla de Sanabria, where this house stands out with a shield that suggests that it belonged to an important family. Today it has been restored, at least on the outside, and gives an idea of the importance of Puebla de Sanabria as a medieval town.
En nettoyant les fichiers informatiques, j'ai trouvé des photos oubliées, comme celle d'une intersection de rue dans la vieille ville de Puebla de Sanabria, où cette maison se distingue par un bouclier qui suggère qu'elle appartenait à une famille importante. Beim Bereinigen der Computerdateien habe ich einige vergessene Fotos gefunden, wie dieses von einer Straßenkreuzung in der Altstadt von Puebla de Sanabria, wo dieses Haus mit einem Schild hervorsticht, das darauf hindeutet, dass es einer wichtigen Familie gehörte. Heute ist es zumindest äußerlich restauriert und lässt die Bedeutung von Puebla de Sanabria als mittelalterliche Stadt erahnen.

The St. Paul's Church of Strasbourg is a major Gothic Revival architecture building and one of the landmarks of the city of Strasbourg, in Alsace, France.
Built between 1892 and 1897 during the time of the Reichsland Elsass-Lothringen (1870–1918), the church was designed for the Lutheran members of the Imperial German garrison stationed in Strasbourg. Several of the church's most striking features, such as its great width relative to its not so great length and the inordinately high number of portals and entrances giving access to it (19 in all) result from the need to accommodate military personnel from the very highest ranks down, including the Emperor, in case he came (the actual Imperial Palace being not far away). In 1919, after the return of Alsace to France, the church was handed over to the Protestant Reformed Church of Alsace and Lorraine and became its second parish church in the town after Bouclier parish. Cette pièce, dite aussi « salon d'angle », est ornée d'une tapisserie des Gobelins de 1687 représentant Le Parnasse d'après des cartons de Pierre Mignard. Sur la partie supérieure des murs et au-dessus des fenêtres sont visibles six tableaux : Un vase de fleurs et deux paons et Un enfant, un tapis, et un vase de fleurs par Pierre Nicolas Huilliot, Une table avec un tapis brodé et Une figure de l'amour et un bouclier par Piat Sauvage, Des fleurs et un ananas dans un vase de porphyre et Un vase d'or, une aiguière, un bassin et des fleurs et fruits par Jean-Baptiste Belin. Le mobilier de style Louis XV et Second Empire fut livré par Jeanselme.

This room, also known as the "corner room", is decorated with a Gobelins tapestry of 1687 representing Le Parnasse after cartoons by Pierre Mignard. On the upper part of the walls and above the windows are six paintings: A vase of flowers and two peacocks and A child, a carpet, and a vase of flowers by Pierre Nicolas Huilliot, A table with an embroidered carpet and A figure of love and a shield by Piat Sauvage, Flowers and a pineapple in a porphyry vase, and A golden vase, an ewer, a basin and flowers and fruit by Jean-Baptiste Belin. The furniture in the Louis XV and Second Empire style was supplied by Jeanselme.

Le bâtiment d'origine a été construit au XVe siècle par la famille des Rabassa de Perellós, qui avait acquis la baronnie de Dos Aguas en 1496. Cette baronnie fut élevée au rang de marquis en 1699 par le roi Carlos II, convertissant la famille en Marqués de Dos Aguas.
En 1740, la famille procéda à une profonde rénovation du bâtiment. De cette époque sont présents de nombreux éléments architecturaux que nous observons aujourd'hui, ainsi que des éléments décoratifs de la façade, de style rococo.
La porte principale, décorée d'albâtre, attire l'attention. Une magnifique œuvre d'art qui forme les deux principales rivières de la province de Valéncia, la Júcar et la Turia, représentées par deux personnages en forme d'atlantes, ainsi que des navires qui déversent de l'eau en allusion claire au titre noble. Au-dessus de la porte, des boucliers familiaux et une image de la Vierge du Rosaire.
La façade a été décorée de fresques de Hipólito Rovira, mais au milieu du XIXe siècle, elles ont été remplacées par des stucs gris et roses imitant le marbre.
Par la suite, elle a subi de nouvelles rénovations tout en conservant ses principaux éléments.
The original building was built in the 15th century by the Rabassa de Perellós family, who had acquired the barony of Dos Aguas in 1496. This barony was raised to the rank of marquis in 1699 by King Carlos II, converting the family into Marques de Dos Aguas.
In 1740, the family carried out a major renovation of the building. From this period are present many architectural elements that we observe today, as well as decorative elements of the facade, in Rococo style.
The main door, decorated with alabaster, attracts attention. A magnificent work of art that forms the two main rivers of the province of Valéncia, the Júcar and the Turia, represented by two figures in the shape of atlanteans, as well as ships that discharge water in clear allusion to the noble title . Above the door, family shields and an image of the Virgin of the Rosary.
The facade was decorated with frescoes by Hipólito Rovira, but in the middle of the 19th century they were replaced by gray and pink stuccos imitating marble.
Subsequently, it underwent further renovations while retaining its main elements.

I was 4cm away from him, didn't move.. I ended up stopping photographing by wondering about his intentions, towards me..!
It was a large male about 40cm long including the tail and a diameter at the head of well 3 1/2 cm, I thought to myself if he jumped towards me, the lens hood would serve as a shield. (the tip of the muzzle was partly in it).
A very impressive face-to-face, for me, I don't think I impressed him at all.,/
J'étais à 4cm de lui, ne bougeait pas .. j'ai fini par arrêté de photographier en me posant des questions sur ses intentions, à mon égard..!
C'était un grand mâle d'environ 40cm de long queue comprise et d'un diamètre à la tête de bien 3cm1/2, je me disais s'il saute vers moi, le cache soleil de l'objectif me servira de bouclier..(le bout du museau était en partie dedans).
Un face à face très impressionnant, pour moi, quant à lui je ne pense pas l'avoir impressionné du tout.

From the white shield on the top of the back, I think it is a young of about a year, it is ringed and it has discolored feathers.

Zwischen 1894 und 1897 wurde das Gewölbe mit Stuck verziert ,der 1985-1986 restauriert wurde). (Leider habe ich die Deckenfresken nicht fotografiert)
Seit 2001-2002 haben die Kathedrale und die Glocke ein neues Dach aus 85.000 Emailziegeln.
Ende 2009 wurde im Atrium der Kathedrale das Wappen angebracht, das die drei Päpste Damasus II, Pius VI und Benedikt XVI darstellt (die drei Schilde sind das Werk des Bildhauers Markus Gasser, ).

Since 2001-2002, the cathedral and bell have had a new roof with 85,000 enamel tiles.
At the end of 2009, the atrium of the cathedral was adorned with the coat of arms, representing three popes: Damasus II, Pope Pius VI and Benedict XVI (the three shields are the work of sculptor Markus Gasser).

Avant la révolution française, la maison était habitée par, l’adjoint au Maire. Lors de la révolution, la foule, après avoir pillé l’Hôtel de Ville a ensuite envahi et dépouillé la maison..
Jusqu’au 20° s , ce fut une maison d’habitation, qui au début du 21° s tombait en ruines
En 2010, la famille Jung, une famille alsacienne passionnée d’histoire acquiert ce lieu et à cœur de le rénover sous forme d’hôtel de luxe en lui redonnant sa splendeur d’antan

The façade remains sober, as it is located in the Protestant quarter of Strasbourg in the 18th century.
Before the French Revolution, the house was occupied by the deputy mayor. During the Revolution, after looting the Town Hall, the mob invaded and stripped the house bare.
Until the 20th century, the house was used as a dwelling, but by the beginning of the 21st century it was falling into disrepair.
In 2010, the Jung family, an Alsatian family with a passion for history, acquired the property and set about renovating it as a luxury hotel, restoring it to its former splendour.

Rouen (France) – Nous ne sommes plus dans les Jardins Partagés de Mont-Saint-Aignan, mais dans le Jardin de Repainville à la sortie est de Rouen, à la limite de la commune de Darnétal.
Ce jardin de dix hectares est un ancien site maraîcher. Il dispose de mares, d’un cours d’eau et de plusieurs sources. Ce site au fort potentiel environnemental, très rare en milieu urbain, aurait dû disparaitre sous le béton. En 1998, la mairie avait décidé d’en faire une zone d’activité commerciale (ZAC) et d’y implanter une grande enseigne de bricolage. Levée de bouclier immédiate des défenseurs de la nature. Le combat pour préserver un site à haute valeur environnementale portera finalement ses fruits en 2003, date à laquelle la mairie renonce à ces projets et confie la gestion du site naturel à une association.
Sur la photo, Raphael ramasse ses premières patates. « Raph », comme on l’appelle, est un excellent ami. Nous avons été collègues quand nous étions à France 3, avec de nombreux reportages en commun à notre actif. Preuve que le journalisme mène à tout ; à condition d’en sortir pour aller jardiner.
The Repainville Garden Saved from Concrete
Rouen, France – We're no longer in the Mont-Saint-Aignan Community Gardens, but in the Repainville Garden on the eastern outskirts of Rouen, bordering the town of Darnétal.
This ten-hectare garden is a former market garden. It features ponds, a stream, and several springs. This site, with its strong environmental potential, very rare in an urban setting, should have disappeared under concrete. In 1998, the town council decided to turn it into a commercial activity zone (ZAC) and to establish a large DIY store there. An immediate outcry from environmentalists. The fight to preserve this site of high environmental value finally bore fruit in 2003, when the city council abandoned these plans and entrusted the management of the natural site to an association.
In the photo, Raphael is harvesting his first potatoes. "Raph," as he's known, is a great friend. We were colleagues when we were at France 3, with many reports together to our credit. Proof that journalism leads to everything; provided you step away from it to go gardening.

Η φαλαγγιτική ασπίς έχει διάμετρο 60 με 70 εκατοστά και σύμφωνα με τον Ασκληπιόδοτο λοιπές πήγες και τα ευρήματα είχε 65 εκατοστά διάμετρο . Αποτελούνταν από ξύλινο πυρήνα ( δέρμα η πάπυρο ενδιάμεσο ) και χαλκό.
Η χάλκινη εκδοχή της ήταν αυτή που προτείνει και ο Ασκληπιόδοτος και εννοεί ότι
Η χάλκινη επένδυση ήταν και η καλύτερη .Δεν είχε γείσο όπως η οπλιτική ασπίς αν και είχε πόρπακα ,αντιλαβή-αν και βρισκόταν σε χρήση μόνο στην περίπτωση που η σάρισα είχε αχρηστευτεί - και αορτήρα που ήταν το μέσο για την μετατόπιση της ασπίδας. Δεν ήταν πολύ κοίλη άρα δεν είχε μεγάλο βάθος για να είναι δυνατή η χρήση της σάρισας με τα δυο χέρια( μόνο με δυο χέρια μπορεί η σάρισα να χρησιμοποιηθεί ). Το μέγιστο βάθος σε αντίθεση με την οπλιτική ήταν 4 εκατοστά το πολύ.

Roman construction are only 15 arches, on the right bank, and these are the approximately 89 year. En cette fin mars 2007, le TGV 4402 modifié en rame d'essais V150 pour atteindre de très hautes vitesses, ne ressemblait plus beaucoup au modèle TGV POS tel qu’il avait été conçu à l’origine.
Les TGV POS (POS pour Paris - Ostfrankreich – Süddeutschland) sont une série de 19 rames tricourant construites pour la nouvelle ligne « LGV Est Européenne » Paris Strasbourg, mise en service à partir du 10 juin 2007.
Réceptionné par la SNCF en octobre 2006, le TGV 4402 a tout de suite été transformé en « TGV150 », le nom donné au train en configuration d’essais. Fin 2006, il était devenu une bête de course et un laboratoire de mesures roulant, bardé de centaines de capteurs et équipé de nombreuses caméras. L’objet noir protubérant devant le bogie en est une. Les caméras servaient à observer le comportement de diverses pièces pendant les marches d’essais, et fournissaient des images vidéo pour la communication sur l’évènement qu’allait être le record du monde de vitesse sur rails du 3 avril 2007.
L’avant du train était particulièrement renforcé et surveillé, parce qu’il était exposé à de fortes pressions aérodynamiques, proches de celles de l’aviation. Le pare-brise était affleurant et ne comportait pas d’essuie-glaces. La trappe d’attelage était condamnée et remplacée par un « bouclier », une pièce monobloc solidement fixée. De ce fait, la rame d’essais ne pouvait pas être remorquée par l’avant. Pour rentrer à son atelier près de Paris, elle ne pouvait être accouplée que du côté arrière avec sa « rame-balai », le TGV 4404. C’était nécessaire parce que la V150 n’était homologué et équipé que pour circuler en essais sur la LGV Est et ne pouvait pas passer sur le réseau ouvert au service commercial.

By late March 2007, TGV 4402, modified into test train V150 for very high-speed running, no longer bore much resemblance to the standard TGV POS design from which it originated.
The TGV POS sets (POS for Paris – Ostfrankreich – Süddeutschland) are a series of 19 tri-voltage trainsets built for the new Paris-Strasbourg East European HSL (High Speed Line) that opened to commercial service in June 2007.
Accepted into service by SNCF in October 2006, TGV 4402 was immediately converted into the “TGV150”, the designation given to the train in its test configuration. By the end of 2006, it had become both a high-speed testbed and a rolling laboratory, equipped with hundreds of sensors and numerous cameras. The protruding black device ahead of the bogie is one of them. These cameras were used to monitor the behaviour of various components during test runs, and also provided video footage for the communication campaign and television reports surrounding the world rail speed record run of 3 April 2007.
The front end of the train was particularly reinforced and closely monitored, as it was subjected to very high aerodynamic pressures. The windscreen was flush-mounted and had no wipers. The coupler hatch was sealed and replaced by a solid, one-piece nose shield securely fixed in place. As a result, the test train could not be hauled from the front. To return to its workshop near Paris, it could only be coupled at the rear to its dedicated high-speed test support trainset, TGV 4404. This was necessary because the V150 was approved and equipped solely for test running on the HSL before it was opened and could not operate over the conventional network in normal service.
