Het natuurgebied van Ter Borg ligt in het stroomdal van het riviertje de Ruiten-Aa. Het Amerikaanse geografische genootschap 'National Geographic', bekend van het gelijknamige tijdschrift, had er van 2011 tot 2013 een lijst (of venster) geplaatst aan de Borgerweg, een 'raam' waardoor je een stuk van het landschap afgebakend kon bekijken.
In totaal werden in de provincie Groningen twaalf van deze grote gele stalen vensters geplaatst, in Westerwolde, de Veenkoloniën en het Oldambt.

For twenty years, at the end of August, the historic city core of VaraĹľdin is transformed into the largest stage in Croatia. During the ten days of Ĺ pancirfest, the streets, squares, palaces, parks, gardens, and courtyards of historic VaraĹľdin become stages, theatres, restaurants, bars, clubs, classrooms, and shops at the largest, most popular and most diverse Croatian festival.
Ĺ pancirfest is both a street and a music festival. It is a festival of people who like taking walks, as well as those who like to party, it is a festival of hedonism, an art festival, a festival of tradition, and a festival of contemporary creative production. A festival where you can truly relax or completely burn out. It is precisely this creative ambiguity, this immeasurable diversity and variability merged with the beautiful historical core of the city of VaraĹľdin what makes Ĺ pancirfest so successful, popular, great and unique.
