Venerdì 5 luglio il centro di Borgo San Dalmazzo ha visto protagonisti i The Beat Circus in Piazza Martiri Della Libertà, in occasione de “Il Bello del Centro”, evento organizzato dai negozi in collaborazione con il Comune di Borgo San Dalmazzo. Nel centro storico, che per l’occasione è diventato area pedonale, negozi aperti e possibilità di ballare in piazza per tutti. Grazie a tutti i negozi per la bellissima iniziativa.. Project Name: "300"
Day 1 of 300
Hey whats up everybody. I'm going to be giving you a lot of photos for the next year. For my 10th Anniversary as a photographer I am challenging myself with many projects. One in particular I call 300. Just like the movie, the Spartans took on a big challenge against all odds. I have felt my photography career has taken a similar path but somehow I found a way to succeed and follow my dreams. All praise to the Lord!
The idea is to take pictures for 300 days. My goal is to take 30,000 pictures this year. ( I learned on film so that will take some work as I usually shoot about 5000 pics a year.) The reason I chose 300 is because a lot of photographers do the 365 project and I wanted to be a bit different. Plus it gives me time to work on other projects and travel. Who knows I may end up doing it every day so we will see.
So these pics are of the new construction on "The Bow." It's going to be 58 stories in height. I wanted to create a futuristic look with these photographs. A little sci-fi elements to it. It is a black and white style I have been working with with high contrast. I really like the top one with the Calgary tower. It almost looks like a launch pad or rocket. The last one reminds me of a borg ship.
