Poor Bootstrap is so easy going, but Harley just can't accept the fact that there is a new cat around. This wasn't really a fight. Harley was laying there peacefully and just decided that he wanted to pounce. I was lucky to have my camera handy because this took place in the matter of seconds. Not a clear shot, but lots of action here.

"The country" is an oceanfront area of the Santurce district of San Juan, Puerto Rico famed for its beach and entertainment. Established in 1908 as a suburb of Old San Juan by the Behn Brothers, Condado became famed for its luxury summer after the Vanderbilts built their summer home here. There area further developed following the Cuban Revolution, which had driven American tourists from the shores of Havana and led to the United States implementing Operation Bootstrap, a large scale government project developing manufacturing and tourism to the island. By the 1950s the Condado was the new playground for American wealth and tourists. It remains so to this day, though congestion and other issues are becoming greater concerns.

I didn't have a working 8" PEDISK boot disk, so I had to bootstrap it myself. I wrote a format program and then another program to write the PEDISK boot sectors that I extracted from a 5.25" PEDISK disk. Those programs were loaded off of a Commodore floppy drive. Once the PEDISK disk was written, the Commodore drive was disconnected and the PEDISK was operational.
