Saturday Self Challenge
This week let's try this idea,
"Dutch Angle" Your horizon line should be tilted so that it is no longer level.
Post-process as you like.
It soon became apparent that outdoor shooting this week would be a no no because of the awful weather, so the few ideas that I did have in mind fell quickly by the wayside. Instead after a few hours of thought I decided to use a couple of our bookshelves to create the ‘Dutch Angle’.
I still feel the books should be sliding off !
During the post processing which I did using the Photoshop Express/Mix Apps, I added a little bookworm into the shot, just for fun. I used the ‘Carmine’ filter to get the colours as they are.
Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
“Books are the plane, and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.”-Anna Quindlen
I’m both a bookworm and a stationery lover, which made these notebooks irresistible. What made them even better was how some of them combined the outdoors and adventure. It’s like they were made just for me.
Just as I have more notebooks than I’ll (most likely) ever be able to use, I am constantly finding more books than I could ever read. That won’t stop me from trying, though! It’s a rare day when I don’t read a book for at least a short time and it wouldn’t feel right to not have reading be a regular part of my life.

Ok so this is my first attempt at using photoshop. I don't hardly know anything about it but I did my best.
Went camping for a few days with my daughter. We had a blast as we 'sneakily' stayed up late.
She is becoming quite the little reader.
