We had to try it. We each only had one sampling - bone marrow is rich and greasy and not for everyone. We liked it enough, not enough to have more than a taste, though. It was expensive, but well worth it.
The waitress complimented us on our boldness since most people don't order it.

I like how things are washed down river and are stranded by the rise and fall of flood water. As we live in a rural area, the small rivers and burns wend their way from the hills down through the fields where sheep and cattle graze. The remains of long dead casualties wash up on the shore, long dismembered and bleached by the elements.

The structure is a good example of humanist architecture, with proportion and classically-inspired detailing creating a balance with the pre-existing medieval part of the façade
From the Trinity churchyard in Regensburg, where the Protestant electors of the Holy Roman Empire were buried in the 18th century. Full of fine baroque monuments and almost every one has a little grinning skull or skeleton - one of my regular photographic obsessions.

No....not my dog!!! But, I always have people offering me bones for my dog. I gave up on "real" bones when my previous Yellow Lab cracked a molar (requiring an extraction) while chewing on a large bone.

This design is also based from traditional Maori shapes. The waves represent connection to the sea -- as long as you're in New Zealand, you are never far from the ocean. (Even though it is only roughly the size of Oregon, NZ has more coastline than the United States). The spiral shapes created in the negative space represent the koru, or fern frond. New Zealand has around 164 fern species, and the spiral shape of their fronds represents personal expansion and growth, spirituality and opening up to life. Together it's basically the story of my experience in New Zealand.

My favourite apron. As you can tell, it needs to be washed. Although most of that grime won't come off.

She was totally enjoying her bone and then as soon as I approached with the camera, she paused as if she didn't want me to know how much she liked chewing. Perhaps she should pretend she's reading the paper. Or maybe she's worried that I want her bone. She's a strange, lovely girl.
