Brown Pelicans cruise low over the water, but dive into the water for food. They create quite a striking image, like the one in this picture, when diving for fish.
They are very large birds, with a 7'6" (2.3m) wingspan, and a length of 45-54 inches (1.1-1.4m). The picture looks best in large size.
German navy Starfighter 22+98 on display at the "Aeronauticum" naval aviation museum.
22+98 was built in 1965 at Messerschmitt in Manching.

Looking south from the top of Goatfell on the Isle of Arran (Ailsa Craig - top right). We were moored in the bay left of centre just off Brodick. From the boat it was 17,000 steps up and 17,000 steps back. And a bit of rowing. I imagine the gull got there and back a bit quicker so I decided it didn't deserve a free lunch no matter how much it posed for me.
Beech Bomber Trainer WW 2 Bomber pilots and crews trained in this aircraft during WW 2, found this one at an airshow in North Carolina.

The Vulcan Bomber XM655 taken at night during a recent photoshoot at Wellesbourne airfield in the UK. Avro Vulcan XM655 was third from last of the Vulcan bombers produced for the Royal Air Force, being delivered in late 1964, and was part of the UK's nuclear deterrent force throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
This is the only ground running Vulcan left that has the most powerful of the engine variants (Bristol Olympus 301s)
It is now owned by Wellesbourne Airfield, and is looked after by 655 Maintenance and Preservation Society (655MaPS) which is a volunteer organisation of Vulcan enthusiasts.

The Bristol Blenheim is referred to as the forgotten Bomber, as the role her crews played in Bomber Command during the early stages of World War 2 are largely overlooked. L6739 is the world's only airworthy Blenheim and flies in memory to the brave men who flew her during the war.

Ground floor of the Yankees Stadium where the New York Yankees baseball team plays.The team is also nicknamed the Bronx Bombers because of the location (The Bronx,New York) where the team plays and the their focus on hitting (like bombs bursting in air:) home runs as part of their offensive strategy.The New York Yankees organization was founded in 1903.
The U.S. Army brought the Barling Bomber to St. Louis for display at the St. Louis Air Races in the Summer of 1923.
At the time it was the largest plane ever built and cost $500,000. However, its weight and power problems proved insoluble and only one was made.
Even by today's standards its dimensions were large: 65 feet long, 28 feet high and the three wings had a span of 120 feet each. By comparison, the old DC-10 had a wings span of 155 feet.
The plane has six engines, four for forward thrust and two for reverse.
The tiny plane on the right is the Sperry Messenger, or "Flivver" which Lawrence Sperry flew in the On-To St. Louis Race.

The first fighter sized ship capable of tackling larger targets, the F09 was the only fighter capable of being equipped with both torpedoes and heavy armor. Although it was a sluggish ship, it's tough plating made sure it got back safe from it's missions.
