Bollywood in Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer (India) - Scene captured on the shores of Lake Gadisar, a stone's throw south of the Jaisalmer fortress. Built around 1150, then rebuilt around 1400 AD, this artificial lake is intended to collect rainwater. Today, this open-air reservoir has also become a tourist spot where Indians and foreigners come to relax at the end of the day to take a boat trip or watch the sunset. In the photo an Indian couple imagine themselves in Bollywood, the time of a photo.
On a trip to india a few years back, I couldn't resist buying a pack of these shiny embossed envelopes which are used to give money at weddings.

For some reason, these stars have decided not to hook up... not yet. Even though they're hot! That makes them 'most eligible'. Pictures >>
Caught on my camera.. at Goa International airport... Kareena Kapoor Bollywoods hottie and Paresh Mutha Mithi's newest addition... celebs in style !!
Here's a of the Bollywood dance at the Capitol that I was telling you about. It doesn't look like they got the 3 thousand they were looking for. Probably because it was so hot. Anyway, it was fun to watch. Hope you enjoy it as well. I had to do a crash course on how to edit videos in Photoshop..:)

A tribal fusion style piece I created (this photo is much closer to the truer color). This is the bra top to a bra and belt set created for a bellydance costume.
The full costume includes:
bra
belt
gold wrap (a piece of $2 mesh fabric)
pink sari skirt (the only purchased item other than jewlery)
This is probably the 37th frame in the roll. I was crashing into a Bollywood concert at a community park in San Ramon. I was so out of place when I got behind the band to take this shot with my rangefinder. Good thing everybody was dancing to the music without paying any attention to my presence. They probably thought I was a hired photographer for the event.
