Autumn is already here, and we are still experiencing warm temperatures and full sunny days. October started with a fresh batch or rains, so you can imagine what is like to find a dry day to do the lawn without getting stuck in the mud. A little patience helps a lot too!

Birds are coming back to the feeders, specially the chickadee, titmouse and the cardinals. It has been a tough summer for them since the heat was almost unbearable with the very unusual humidity. Somehow the hawks didn't mind it much since they were constantly flying in circles around the neighborhood. Perhaps they were also the reason for many of them not to get too close to this area.

Photography is my passion, and nature photography is my favorite.

The best part of spring is to be able to be outdoors again. One of my favorite things to do is photograph bubbles. My son helps me every year and we have a lot of fun, thank you!

Somehow I had a hard time adding this photo, I suppose Flickr had some kind of technical difficulty or they were working on something. Anyway, I'm glad it is back!

As much as think bubbles are fun, they are also a molecular reaction, it sounds rather fancy, right? Do you want to know more about them? Here is a good place to start:

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I’m a nature lover and photography has giving me the opportunity to see and enjoy what I like the most about it. Birds, butterflies and flowers are my favorite subjects, but I like doing landscapes too. So many things to photograph so little time! I enjoy transforming some of my photos using Photoshop, sometimes I use my own textures to give them a different look.

EXPLORED # 169 This is another from the 'secret garden' I told you about. I've got to load this weekend because I'm going on a garden tour tomorrow which means more photos and I've already got dozens waiting in the wings to be loaded.

I got out my cool Petzval Bokeh Art Lens and thought I'd take some photos of the lights on my little Christmas tree. It's such a unique lens in that it has a slot on the lens where you can insert a metal blank with different Bokeh shapes cut out of them. No mistaking what this one is!
