white dress, prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close you could taste them, but eventually you grow up, one day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people they can trust. But the thing is its hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true

before they fell... all over our lawn. ;) more of the beautiful magnolia tree. now that the blooms are a week older, the ones still on the tree are so fragrant. wow.
I always see this flower in my Japanese friends' stream and I finally found it today in the garden :) Love the candy bokeh in the back, happy bokeh day!
Sorry to dump this pic on you all. Nothing special, but wanted to keep it as it was one of my first pics with a Fuji XT-1 using a Sigma 30mm lens via a $30 adapter.
This is one of many bokehs i took using these border things my sister bought for her project. I just loved how the light reflected off it and thought it would make interesting bokeh~ :)
It's old news that I like these kind of shots, so here's another one. Taken on a business trip to Stockholm.
A rose is the visible result of an infinitude of complicated goings on in the bosom of the earth and in the air above, and similarly a work of art is the product of strange activities in the human mind.

Too many amazing vintage lenses, too little time. Taken with a Color-Yashinon DX 35mm/f:1.8 lens extracted from a malfunctioning Yashica Electro 35 CC vintage 35mm rangefinder camera, on Sony A7.

I am now entering my 10th week here in flickr...
And after fumbling with my photos in my first few weeks...
I came across with the works of some very talented people...
People who became my friends,...and unselfish mentors...
People who became my brothers & sisters, in photography..
With their encouragement and inspiration...
I gradually developed my skills and creativity...
It is for them, that I now offer my creations...
To express my gratitude and my love...
Hoping that this simple gestures may touch their heart..
***I will post my tributes to friends randomly,..
depending on the appropriate photos available..
so please be patient.. I'll catch up with you soon...thanks***
