Throwing in a quick bokeh Wednesday shot for good measure. My beautiful niece hamming it up on Halloween:) SOOC...

Happy Bokeh Wednesday!

Purple pink daisies are in blossom again, spring is in the air!

These daisies are hardy, colourful and beautiful.

They are quite fun to take especially against the morning or afternoon sun.

Have a great week!

(better view on black)

It was so nice out, I was mesmerized by the sun's beautiful light rays, cascading through out. HBW!

This was taken at Cawdor Castle Gardens, which wasone of the prettiest gardens I have come across and well worth a visit if you are ever in that area. Another SOCC shot.

My Computer has crashed and burned - it kept over heating and has now gone to the computer doctor to hopefully be fixed. All my photos are on it - I was in the process of backing up but most of the new stuff is on it so I'm hoping it can be retrieved - keep your fingers crossed for me. So at the moment I don't have internet or access to photos etc :-( (I'm doing this from my brothers computer)

The red flowers on the grass are from the so-called 'flamboyant' trees which are in full bloom during the month of December in Mauritius. They indeed make a nice red carpet.

I know, total overload of colour and bokeh! This was just an experiment I thought I'd share, all I did was get some shiny wrapping paper and put it behind the flower with a lamp shining from behind the flower sideways (it's complicated to explain) anyway I was surprised at how it came out!

"Frankfurt, you are so wonderful"

This is not a wild or a garden plant, but a small bush I found for sale on a street market that was held because of our anual wine festival!

So no need to search at the geotagged location!

At the moment I'm more and more teased to try to use this lens with an extension tube....
