I took advantage of a sunny day and made a few shots of this late tulips, that are just blooming in my garden!
Have been away from flickr for almost a month, and guess it will be same for more time. I will be on and off for some more time. Fortunately i visited my native place last week and had a time to grab the camera and for a walk. Captured this bird when it was all windy and cloudy in the evening. The bird seemed to be enjoying the wind and time and again it opened up its feathers to let the wind pass :)

Tried shooting this miniature Christmas gift bucket. Lighting small objects is a challenge. See the entire series here - A must see
Strobist Info:
I used a 580 EX at 1/64th of power from camera left shot from 1 ft above the bucket. through an umbrella. I had to move the light up and down to avoid the glare on the bucket. At the backdrop is a series of LED lights that you get in walmart for $2. I used a Canon T1i and Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L lens for this shot.

I got this little dandy in Peru this summer. Upon seeing it today, as well as the sun and some spring fever, I felt a bit more youthful. I went outside and played like a child for the first time in a while. I want to go back to Peru.
I had my first photo printed and framed today. It is going to be an auction item at our fundraiser dinner for our trip to Arizona. Hopefully people like it.
Things I learned today:
Michaels is the place to go for frames.

♥♥♥ Thank you all for your visits, faves, invites and wonderful comments ♥♥♥
I took a walk in downtown Menlo Park, Calif., today. This pic is from the storefront flower pots at Starbucks. Not much sidewalk traffic, but it's picking up a little. The Fuji X100F lens is supposedly soft at f2, and should be used at 2.8. For me f2 seems OK except for extreme close-ups. Then again, maybe my eyes are on the fritz. I would not be surprised.
Macro Monday Theme: Jewelry
I had to do another bokehlicious shot with this theme, this is my necklace arranged in concentric circles to add to the bokeh. Processed in b&w to make it pop as it was only silver anyway.
Really appreciate all your favourites and comments. HMM!
