This photo was already taken in 2012 by my girlfriend Anja in Balintore harbour, a small village at Moray Firth in Scotland
Apparently the owner of this car hires a bodyguard to make sure nobody touches the car, and they weren't working that day. By the end of the day, there were tons of hand marks on the chrome and it was awful.
ALL IMAGES ARE BEST seen On Black, yours too!
LA STAR is in the back, protected by her bodyguards, but still wants to be seen, lol.
From the latest flower-hunt.
My flower year has started again with all the ‘bulbs’. Of course from the shops, the garden is still in hibernation.
Anemone coronaria is a species of flowering plant in the genus Anemone, native to the Mediterranean region.
With love to you and thanK you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

So FINALLY this morning I woke up to some cooler weather ... perhaps even "cold" by Florida standards ... it was in the mid to upper 40's. I know that my friends out west and up north will be laughing at that temperature, but I was surely excited!
So in honor of it being a bit cool, I thought I would share an image of a colder (quite) scene while visiting Wyoming last winter. Two moose, a cow & her calf, were spotted along the river as they foraged for whatever vegetation and grasses they could find. At first, they didn't see us, but then when they did, they simply paused their activity for a moment or two. Realizing that we were no threat to them, they then continued on. It was a fascinating moment for Tom & I.
Yes, it was quite cold that day, but the exhilaration that I feel when I spot some amazing wildlife simply warms my soul and I don't feel the cold ... until of course, I stop shooting. :-) I'm sure that many of you out there can relate.
Happy Sunday! Thanks for stopping by to view.

Had a little too much fun with this angle! I shot it like this in camera, I have no idea why. I always have a urge to align flat lines so maybe that is how it happened...

One of the things that I loved about the traditional palaces in South Korea was the changing of the Royal Guard. The traditional hanbok constumes of the guards at the entrance gate were often very colourful, and often there were many people in hanbok waiting to take a shot with the guards, just like this one here!
It looked very romantic indeed, "she" lying there and he as a kind of a bodyguard...yes, until "she" stood up and I realized it was also a he! Well, friends then! :O)

If you'll be my bodyguard
I can be your long-lost pal
I can call you Betty
And Betty, when you call me
You can call me Al...

So glad to see someone has saved Al's Redwood Room in Willits, Calif even if it is Thai food...The building, contents and of course the fabulous neon martini glass signage lives to see another day...
Way back when, in the lost 70's, a buddy and I were just getting our feet wet in the mighty world of pot cultivation in Mendocino County, considered at the time to be the best in the world...making weekly trips up to the mountains, one night it was freezing cold and threatening to start snowing so we pulled off the 101 and bellied up to Al's bar and started consuming Manhattans...well, one thing lead to another and by the time we reached the cabin, it was snowing...
the good old days...
