Visit to a Bank
Bodakdev School tries to enhance the knowledge of young children through regular field visits. Today morning young children of Junior KG and Senior KG visited Kalupur Commercial Co-op Bank. The Vice-principal Ms Amoli Patell accompanied them. They visited the different departments of the bank, which included a sneak peek into the lockers section. The educators showed passbooks and cheque books to give them a deeper understanding of the banking system. The young children also interacted with the Bank Manager, who gave them an overview of the different departments of the bank. The entire visit made our young children aware of the process of opening the bank accounts, filing of pay-in-slip to deposit money, withdrawal of money through cheque. The little ones were inquisitive to know how and from where the money is deposited in ATM and who refills the ATM machines. The entire visit on the financial system made the young children smarter and wiser.

Shree Anjani Mata and Sankat Mochan Hanumanji Mandir is located at Thaltej, Ahmedabad city belongs to Ahmedabad district in the Indian state of Gujarat.
70 years ago, there was a small temple of Hanumanji at Thaltej Tekra, Drive in Road, Western Zone of Ahmedabad. During his 12 years of priesthood, mandir mahant developed a temple in 10 x 10 area and set idols of Anjani Mata and Hanumanji.
Gradually, temple became famous for its sacredness amongst the devotees and believers of Hanumanji. Thus it has a huge number of worshipers coming in every day.
The temple needed to shift as the area was developing under the metro city scheme of AUDA. The attitude of AUDA towards the temple was very sensitive & supportive and the temple was allotted a new plot on the way to Bodakdev, which is close by the old location.
The foundation ceremony of new mandir had been organized in a big way on 3rd march 2006, Friday at 12.45 pm. The new temple is 35 feet long and 26 feet wide and its campus is located on the 175 ring road. Pink coloured Bansi Panpuri stone is being used in this newly build temple.
The design and workmanship of the temple is very beautiful and aesthetically sound. The idols of Pawanputra Hanumanji and Mata Anjani Devi had been founded then.
Thousands of devotees visit the temple with faith every day, especially on Saturday. Hanumanji is the infinite devotee of Shri Ram & Rokadiya Dev of Kalyug and Sati Anjani Mata fulfill all wishes of devotees, who come to them with faith, respect and trust. This has been the experience of thousands of devotees.
