You can see the architect coming out in me can't you?

Grandpa (Bunna) and G aged 3 have so much fun in the shed!

Pummeled by wind storms, my personal little waterside warehouse teeters on oblivion. Knocked from rectangular into a parallelogram. I don't need another project, but I've got one. Consider this the "Before" picture--the after picture to come: a Puget Island Taj Mahal.

On the right is the original piece of wood, I think teak, that I am replacing. On the left is a piece of starboard I will use to replace it. I got a guy in town to cut it for me but I had to file all the edges by hand (I dont have an electric planer) to round them off. There are actually 4 of these to install on the boat.

Talk to the hand, Enjy. Talk to the hand.

When the boat made from donated items came to Hastings no one could look at it without wanting to touch it and trace the outlines of the objects.

My bedroom aka the boat headquarters. Aka hell!

Me & Enjy sailin' our boat. I'm the one not wearing a scarf.

caught in Vesuvius' shadow. Only the soppingwetcardboardpieces remain. And I waited there for you, why couldn't you?

Cocoon by the Decemberists. Some of my friends made a cardboard cocoon and rolled it across the pool. It was truly a triumph and I was singing this song in my head and holding my breath the whole time.

The yhact has been constructed from more than 1,200 wooden items, including shavings from a Hendrix guitar, relics from World War II and part of HMS Victory. Each piece was donated by a family or individual, to represent their own personal story. The Boat Project, based near Portsmouth, is one of 12 entries to the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, and will be ready to set sail later this year.
