Some nice evening light as I strolled around the boats last Thursday

At Skye Museum of Island Life, Kilmuir, Isle of Skye.

Boats have played an important role in the island life of Skye for centuries. These boats are typical of late nineteenth century fisherman's boats, although I am not sure they would have sported such colorful paint.

I listen to this via Bluetooth on my Sony headphones whilst sitting on the rocks looking at these boats across the purple water at dusk. Kookaburras laugh in all those trees beyond the marina, as the sun goes down.

A boat at the old harbour of Chania

Amazing-looking speedboats in Padstow harbour as the tide turns and starts to come in. Within a couple of hours, the sandbar in the background is completely under water.
