Just to show how microscopic some of our work is. The first images a Tristar chip on a 5 cent coin. The second images is a Tristar chip which has just been removed from a motherboard zoomed in under a microscope. This chip is sometimes the cause of your iPhone not powering up.
Damaged beyond repair. But what about my photos?
Our team received this device via mail, with a request to recover the important photos. The motherboard had extensive damage, bends, and fractures.
After our microsoldering tech isolated the severely damaged cellular/baseband area, we were able to get the phone turning on, but it had no touch.
Some further work on the Touch IC's, and we were able to get not just the photos, but ALL of the data from the device!

iPad Pro 9.7, prior backlight repair attempt. Previous repairer had used wire to jump the filters instead of replacing them, and shorted a PMIC output to ground causing it to overheat. We replaced both filters with the correct parts and removed the short. Success!
