The picture is from Negombo, where the airport is located. We usually take a BnB there one or two days before departure and enjoy the beautiful beach. But it is not yet time. We are here until mid-April.
One room shack on Tinderry Rd between Michelago and Bredbo, NSW. Ideal for isolation conditions. All modern facilities, running water (down at the creek) and wildlife sightings (wombat burrow under front veranda).

I thought this Air BnB was a winner especially with the outdoor lounging area. But you guessed it--Marg said no-go. I decided to let her handle the lodging arrangements while I handle the dining itinerary. She looked a little nervous about this. Oh well, now I'm off to check out the best places for hotdogs and chili.

Friends have stayed in this old lighthouse. I enjoy how it looks quite model like. Might have to find a hill above it to take a tilt shift photo. Add that to the list of pics yet to get. Hee hee. Hope you're all having a great week.

Sorry you will have to put up with my boring holiday shots for a while now we are home. Omicron has reached our city after 18 months avoiding covid here. Most people are wearing masks and we are about 95% vaccinated which should help. Stay safe!
My first and only trip to Europe. It was in June 2016. I stayed in one of flats on this building. The 7 days I spent here is one of my nicest memories. I loved the city although- I was there for work . Didn’t see the whole city . Loved the neighbourhood, so calm and quiet.
Possibly a last look at this one, as it now has a council disposal notice on it, although I understand a local enthusiast has expressed an interest in it. The Rover 416 GSi that was sitting next to it has vanished in the last week or so - hopefully to a good home.
