Walking along Tel Aviv beaches at winter. This picture was taken while we were walking along the promenade of Tel Aviv. Although, it was winter time the sky was clear and sun was shining. Thousands of people went outside to enjoy few hours of hot weather

No, I tripped while I was doing long exposure and bumped the tripod. Apologies in advance for how this makes your eyes feel. Sometimes we have the best intentions and the right set up but poor execution (and balance).

It is disappointing to see that Flickr has introduced what I regard as some of the worst elements of the 500px website.

There were no issues with the previous Flickr layout as it was excellent, and I assume that Flickr is concerned with their opposition to the extent that Flickr wants to look more like them.

few years back, one of my very close relatives had a major accident due to drunken driving...it came as a shock to our entire family....its not just the drunked person who suffers but the loved ones go through a trauma too....hence, DON'T DRINK n DRIVE.....save yours and others life....

A Painterly version of a shot looking southwest this morning around 7:00 a.m. An exaggeration of my bleary-eyed-ness. 😁

We camped at this beautiful site for three nights. This is the memory of my explore in the park. I will be back!

This is a forgotten photo of mine from last September trip. I discovered it by accident tonight. Fall is waking up in winter:-)

Took a bobsled ride down an Olympic run, the one used for the 1932 Olympics ;-))

That's me in the middle, between the driver and the brakeman. Can't you tell ?

Blurred Vision

During my last vacation in Myrtle beach this past august, one afternoon i was out and about with my camera just looking around for some grass to shoot on the beach. As I was standing in front of this grass bush trying to get an artistic shot of the blades.... and as i was finally about to click that perfect focus, the blades suddenly were losing focus... I thought maybe my vintage lens came loose or that I was losing my vision... puzzled, i put the camera down to see what was going on with the grass, and right in front of my face, this older lady was blocking the bush with her derriere staring straight at my face :))) Needless to say, I was speechless and didn't know what to say. She stayed there long enough for me to re-manually focus her ass-set before disappearing from my vision. She had her good laugh and I had my masterpiece LOL... The lady in this image is not her... I am not willing to share that image with you guys unless you're way above 17! she made my day... bless her heart :) What's your unique photo encounter? I'd like to hear some of that.

Limited with what can be done with slow film, and couldn't be bothered setting up the tripod in the dark and risk falling over stacked fire wood, I tried a blurred image: Here, I moved the camera horizontally in wave form .

Scanned again. Off to make a video for this theme too - hope it comes out how I want it!

Update: so far, all the recordings I made turned out rubbish. I might redo it in a little while though - differently.

We can only see 5 percent of the light spectrum. The rest is hidden from our sight. Blurred vision however can be corrected in time.

Last post of the year. Found this gem while scrolling through my archives to pick my favourite photos of 2023. My girlfriend on expired Portra NS160 (2017) shot at ISO50 with my Pentacon Six.

Admittedly I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek with this one. Bend is a great little town in Oregon with some fantastic local craft breweries AND another amazing McMennamins school-turned-hotel, "St. Francis School". We didn't actually stay at the hotel this time but this iPhone shot was taken while enjoying a delicious beer and friendly ambience in the courtyard. And this is pretty much how things seem after a couple of pints of Hammerhead ;-)
