The Macro Mondays theme for today, 4/4, is reflections. When I took the first picture of this little glass pendant, I noticed the windows reflected in the upper surface, so I wondered if I could preserve them and get a reflection of the underside in a mirror. It took a bunch of shots but It worked. And I’ll bet no one is surprised that it’s BLUEtiful…

The glass pendant is about an inch in diameter. Will put up a size verification picture in a bit, in the first comment box.

Christian Lacroix a passé son enfance en allant jouer dans les ruines de l'abbaye de Montmajour avec les gamins du pays. En 2013, il a été invité à s'emparer de cette magnifique abbaye pour l'habiter avec d'autres artistes… dont il a distribué les œuvres en redessinant l'espace.

Dans le déambulatoire éclairé par des meurtrières, les coupes translucides de Robert Wilson, alignées sur le bois brut.....

Christian Lacroix spent his childhood by going to play in the ruins of the Abbey of Montmajour with the kids of the country. In 2013, he was invited to seize this magnificent abbey to live in it with other artists whose works he distributed by redrawing the space.

In the ambulatory enlightened by notches, Robert Wilson's translucent cups, aligned on the raw wood.....

Today we excited to explore a bit the route from Svensby towards Lyngen and the heart of the Lyngen Alps. Given that day light lasted about 2 hours, we did most of the driving in almost perfect darkness. The amazing thing is you get outside, set up your gear and take a long exposure and in front of your eyes landscapes of pure fairytales emerge in the viewer of your camera :)

I captured my Universe

My goldenscape

It's a silent world

But it has my sun inside, so I have caught the suns warmth

A waterdrop from an icicle

Just about to let go

But obviously it's not ready to let go all the way

Spring is waiting just around the corner

This is definitely the positive proof that it is coming

I will never let go of my hopes

Up to minus 20C (-4F) the last two days, brrrr is the right word..

When my intuition says Go Outside, I follow the advice 🙏

And look what I found, sigh - Mother Nature never lets me down😍

I'm drawn to light

like an insect

When I see it I just head off

Hikes can take hours

I completely loose track of time

My cellphone dies of coldness

Who cares

I'm not

I'm not aware of anything than the hike and all the wonders I see and can caputre for eternity

This little forest on the top of a mountain I find ever so übercool

I have captured it several times

For some reason it almost always gives me no clouds when I'm here

Perhaps it's showing me the future

Who knows

But I love clouds on my sky, my growth comes with my ups and downs

I'm share happiness when I capture images like this.

3/20……. The ANSH scavenger13 item is smoke and I’m *not* going to light up a puffie, I thought I’d use this as a wildcard.

The Macro Mondays’ theme for 10/18 (2021) is smoke. Took more than 150, culled it down to 20 then 18 (see the screenshot), then further down to 6, but it’s midnight and I still haven’t chosen the one I’ll post. Some major dithering coming up.

Used a stick of incense— thank you, DD. If there is a ducky in the picture/background, it is a mini witch, which it about an inch and a half tall.

I find you ever so cool and I know some of you love blue, just like I do, so this one is for you 💙
