My dear boyfriend bought me the lapis used in the piece, so I could finally keep some of my jewelry for myself!
Lapis is an amazing gemstone. It's a radiant blue with specks of pyrite in it. Perfect for anyone with blue eyes (or not). We chose lapis after being inspired by this poem:
Ground lapis for the sky, and scrolls of gold,
Before which shepherds kneel, gazing aloft
At visiting angels clothed in egg-yolk gowns,
Celestial tinctures smuggled from the East,
From sunlit Eden, the palmed and plotted banks
Of sun-tanned Aden. Brought home in fragile grails,
Planted in England, rising at Eastertide,
The powdery stuff of cooks and cosmeticians.
But to the camel’s-hair of the finest brush
Of Brother Anselm, it is the light of dawn,
Gilding the hems, the sleeves, the fluted pleats
Of the antiphonal archangelic choirs
Singing their melismatic pax in terrum.
The child lies cribbed below, in bestial dark,
Pale as the tiny tips of crocuses
That will find their way to the light through drifts of snow.

This necklace uses the following maerials: lapis, of course; clear quartz, in flat ovals; sterling daisy spacers and sterling silver daisy beadcap; and m favorite silver toggle clasp.
This is the most beautiful bracelet ever! The focal point if there is such a thing is the beautifully cut large quartz rondelle in the middle of this masterpiece. On both sides of the focal bead are a multitude of different hand wrapped AAA-quality gems. They are each individually wrapped on sterling silver headpins and wire. The stones include vesuvianite, peridot, aquamarine, chrome diopside, madiera citrine, rhodolite, pink topaz and lemon quartz rondelles of various sizes. But that’s not all of it, the list goes on with apatite nuggets, lemon quartz cubes, blue topaz trillions, garnet and green amethyst nuggets, mystic topaz cubes, coin shaped olive quartz, triangular tourmaline and oval peridots. – Hopefully I got them all! (I think I did). The culmination of a lot of hard work combined with all these top quality gems is a stunning, one-of-a-kind, must-have bracelet!!!

A beautiful sterling silver clasp adorned with garnets and pearls tops it off! The bracelet equivalent to a 7 inch piece, however because of the bulkiness of the clusters it actually measures 8 inches end-to-end. BR9004
Necklace based on the "Madeleine of Burgundy's Pendant" project in the Middle Ages chapter of Cris Dupouy's "Creating Your Own Jewelry" book (reviewed here).
I substituted faux blue lapis from another polymer clay book for the stone/pebble she recommended.
London blue topaz teardrops and gorgeous round faceted peridot are handwrapped on sterling silver wire to make this 2 stranded bracelet. My talented husband (Dan the Man) handcrafted this heart shaped toggle. There are 2 round moldavites set in the heart of the heart. This is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

I created these beautiful, handmade, handcrafted, classic, one of a kind, woman’s earrings. They measure a total of 2 inches. The dangle is 1.5 inches long and is made of blue lace agate, blue lapis, and blue glass seed beads. The dangle hangs from solid silver French hook ear wires. As with all my earrings, you can choose ear posts or others types of studs/wires, even for non-pierced ears. I make them one at a time to ensure they are unique and of high quality. I hope my creation will help give you the courage to speak your mind, and make you feel loyal and trustworthy.

I designed and made this original, spectacular, one of a kind, exquisitely crafted woman’s necklace It is made in shades of blues and greens. I made the Viking knit chain, which is18 inch long chain. I wove the chain by hand with solid silver wire. The pendant is based on 5 pieces of fused glass, hand created by Nancie Miller. The pendant measures 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches. It is embellished with solid silver, Swarvoski crystals, blue lapis, and Czech glass. It is finished with solid silver, lobster claw clasp. The earrings are made of solid silver, turquoise-colored Swarvoski crystals, and solid silver, French hook ear wires. The drop measures .75 inches. It reminds me of a bright star in the sky. I hope you feel like you are shinning and gorgeous when you wear this creation of mine.
This bracelet makes me think of the song from The Sound of Music..."My Favorite Things". That is because I made this bracelet of all of my favorites. Hearts, butterflies, keys, hugs and kisses just to name a few. Along with these sterling silver charms dangle moss aquamarine rondelles. What else could you possibly ask for?
