Kleurinspiratie voor je interieur!
~ Ijzerhard, verbana. De laatst bloeiende plant in mijn tuin op dit moment. Ik krijg vanzelf een glimlach op mijn gezicht als ik naar buiten kijk. Tussen alle stervende planten toefjes van paars!
Paars is er in vele schakeringen en in vele benamingen. Purper is er een van, genoemd naar de purperslak. Vanuit de wereld van vruchten en bloemen zijn de benamingen: aubergine, lavendel, sering en mauve.
Voor het toepassen van deze bijzondere kleur in je interieur kan je op grote vlakken beter een lichtere en iets vergrijsde tint gebruiken. Lavendel is hier goed voor geschikt. Een hele wand sausen in een diepere kleur paars kan enigszins overweldigend zijn. Het kan er zelfs somber van worden. Deze tint kan je het beste als accent gebruiken bijvoorbeeld in de accessoires zoals sierkussens of de stoffering van een stoel. En om te voorkomen dat het te pompeus overkomt, kan je paars het beste combineren met wat modernere meubels.
Foto: Verbena bonariensis, afkomstig uit Zuid-Amerika, is een stijlvolle, laatbloeiende zomerplant. Door zijn open, luchtige groeiwijze geeft hij nuttige hoogte voorin of achterin een border. Aan de lange, stevige grijsgroene stengels verschijnen vanaf augustus tot in oktober kleine hoofdjes met paarsblauwe bloemen. Hij bereikte een hoogte van ruim 1,80 meter en wordt 45 cm breed. Verbena bonariensis is één van de beste vlinderplanten en zaait zich goed uit. bron
..weet je ook waarom vlinders gek op deze plant zijn? Dat komt door de kleur van de bloemen. Alle dagvlinders hebben een uitgesproken voorkeur voor rood, blauw en paars.
