I saw some building blocks lying at the side of the road, and decided to turn them into something. They're still at the side of the road where I found them.
.Fabrics are chosen and block #1 in finished. I am happy with my choices and look forward to seeing yours.

Thirty little 1" squares - phew. And I thought I didn't like orange but looking at the different orange fabrics I have in my stash I think I might have been mistaken.
Age 3+ I think these would be a choking hazard for a 3 year old - but I was never a parent so what would I know...
I made these blocks as my contribution for my month. I'm still waiting on a few blocks -- getting excited to put them all together! Blogged here.
Three more blocks - two different pinks, and a blue. They are 16" blocks.

I climbed Haystacks (a mountain in the English Lake District) and made the Haystack block - all in the same week.
This block is actually block no. 61 in the Farmer's Wife 1930s sampler quilt. It was a tricky make due to the inset seams but I managed.
