(For Non Argentineans: Yapa is a very well known and kind of old fruit flavored candy in form of rectangular little pills typical from Argentina)
My fave skirt today (yep it's always on regular rotation!) + I thought I'd finally give this beautiful top a whirl at being tucked in. Considering the top is made to cinch in at the waist, it's quite silly I haven't taken it for a spin like this before - especially in the colder months.
Outcome - I adore it like this. Hello to more ways to rock out this glam top of mine!

Bringing a bit of warmth and Cuban-inspired fun to snowy Northern Michigan over the holidays, Britten sought to transform the dome of Park Place Hotel into a totally immersive, party environment as a thank you to employees for all their hard work.
To create an unforgettable night of great food, music, and holiday fun for over 300 employees and their significant others, a small Britten team tapped all the company’s print and fabrication capabilities to transform the 5,000 sq. ft. dome of the Park Place Hotel into a Cuban-themed environment. Huge, custom backdrops were printed on 13 oz. Blockout Vinyl, ranging in size up to 22' H and as wide as 31' W. Spanish-themed dance floor decals, lighting, staging, and installation were produced and executed in-house. Vintage cars were brought in for the event, and tropical flora added a touch of Havana charm.
“Thirty years ago, hand-drawing and painting backdrops was a long, often painful process,” recalls Paul Britten. “Now I and my team can sketch, scan, then send the drawings to be digitally printed, and the banners come out looking fabulous the next day. So I’m really proud of our group. This [holiday party] is an expression from me of all the creativity, color, and energy we’ve had in our culture for 32 years. This is the work that we do for customers all over the world.”

The most telling sign.. normal Airport cards were made to not fit into PCMCIA slots (under licensing agreements from Lucent.. at the time of their original release to market, they were much cheaper that Lucent equivalents). The real card has a larger blockout on the right, the fake has a normal PCMCIA sized one. The fake one was also sold as brand new, but there are clearly marks from it being used.
This etched glass look is achieved through a vinyl made to look like frosted glass. The logo on the conference room glass is just enough to give the room a classy, branded look without being intrusive.

Here is a close-up of the blockout blocks. I'm not sure what they are made of, but they are cut precisely and put together with no gaps. The sprocket is for a crude film winder.
Depuis le 7 octobre 2025, l’offensive militaire israélienne sur Gaza a causé des milliers de morts, principalement parmi les civils, équipes médicales et journalistes. Ces exactions ont été dénoncées par de nombreuses organisations internationales, dont les Nations Unies, Amnesty International et Reporters sans frontières.
En parallèle, l’aide humanitaire peine à atteindre la population gazaouie, prise au piège d’un blocus qui aggrave une situation déjà catastrophique et alimente les accusations de violations graves du droit international humanitaire.
Face à cette impasse, le voilier Madleen, affrété par la Coalition de la Flottille pour la liberté a quitté les côtes italiennes le 1er juin avec à son bord douze passagers : marins, médecins, journalistes, militants, et l’eurodéputée franco-palestinienne Rima Hassan. L’objectif affiché : briser symboliquement le blocus et acheminer de l’aide à Gaza.
Depuis son départ, la place de la République à Paris est devenue un lieu de rassemblement pour tous les soutiens au peuple palestinien et à cette initiative.
