There I was, getting ready to photograph some nice mountain silhouettes. Then this happens. Honestly. (P8240054_C4)

For Dmitry who suggested the wrong cap for recognition. This is pretty much my uniform when I am in New York - in the summer.

Along the Rock River near the dam in Oregon, Illinois. This is the back side of the building that now, in 2020, houses the Upstream Company and the Conover Square Mall. One of those things where when you see it you have to point the camera at it. Then you might wonder, "was this the easiest or best way to close off three windows? Why do it at all? How long ago?" Well, I wonder...

It is very difficult to capture one of these birds. They fly fast, for one thing. My eyesight isn t what it used to be. Even if I manage to focus, if they are lower they seem to hear the shutter and ...

Anyway, I am not happy about my bird captures yet. Have to practice more, whereby I am not even aiming for great images, I am more of a snapshot type of person, plus I like to get the context and reality, the surroundings. Sorry... / Have now bought a copy of Birds of Switzerland, and found the Bird Observatory... (Vogelwarte) website, where birds of Switzerland are described in detail. And then WE have to identify the subject of the image... So I am fairly sure this is a buzzard. (or not?) (in the Americas buzzards = hawks)

Not his fault of course, but this guy insisted on standing in front of us--IN THE WAY--for the entire journey. I wouldn't have minded so much if he'd shown any sign of enjoyment whatsoever...

I'd just set up for a lovely wide shot using the stone path to show the way the curve went and then... This gentleman stepping into view, wanting to know if we were there for an online photography meet. He wasn't on flickr, some other site. So, he stayed to admire the view across the valley towards Curbar and became the focal point without realising it.

Doris sits in front of the Tulips to prevent small children from stoming on them and pissing off the garden Frog.

Giant field of Tulips with people walking around them. Why I ask, Why?

Line of tourists waiting to get in and see the miracle of Tulip.

Doris's Socks match the flowers. It keeps her safe from her wrath.

This event was one of many held each year in Switzerland. I often visit the one at Lake Constance. This scene was in Horn, a beautiful little city, whose inhabitants seemingly prefer to celebrate the event sitting at the cafés looking at the neighbours cycling past them. At this moment you could only see the event in the background..

My sharp pointy edges will rip the flesh from the Tourists.

Hey, some lame tourist dropped their popcorn and didn't clean up the mess. Hey Garden Frog, come and eat it.

My dream home, right next to the Tullip farm.

Nice tree. I like this tree. It's limbs reach toward the sky like it's saying "God, save me from these tourists."

Frog sculpture looks at distain at another tourist who walked into a shot.

Look into my deepness, fall into my power. Go stomp on the tourists.

We are waiting for some child to come and rip us out of the ground.

Tulips screaming to the tourists, "Keep out of my light."

Waiting with the tourists, smelling the exhaust.

Hey, come to my dream home, enjoy tea, and toss sharp flowers at the tourists.

The garden maze. The bench of futility lies in the center.

Once you wait in the line, you get hit with the $4.00 fee and the "You can't get to the tulip fields from here" message.

Flowers, people looking at flowers, people walking around looking at flowers.
