OK had to visit this location again as there are a lot of nice rock formations here.
I found out that the blocks are for mooring some big ships that come to the power station.
100 seconds at F12 using ten stop filter and Lee ND9 grad.
The spray and swell made for hard conditions. Looking at the block that is about 25 feet high and you can see the variation in water level of about 8 to 10 feet swell.
Thanks for getting the previous 2 in the series into Explore. The breakwater one has had over 5000 views but not sure how with not many comments so not sure if it has been linked to elsewhere???

Now it's snowing in Florence . All Florence is blocked, even if this snowfall was already expected for a week. In these situations we could see how Florence is badly organized.

Self unloader Joseph L. block owned by Cleveland Cliffs is well into unloading ore at Cleveland's Bulk Terminal on November 2, 2024. It was built in 1975 and has kept that name for it's whole career. It's somewhat rare for a laker to dock at CBT headed west. They more often back in. The newest addition to Cleveland's skyline is the Sherwin Williams headquarters just to the left of the Terminal Tower. Cleveland's House of Pain now known as Huntington Bank Field sits on the far left. This could become a historic photo if the Brown's owners make good on their plan to move off of the lakefront into the suburbs.
This came out of one of my large Planter from this past summer - Winter arrived early and it had filled up with water and froze - Thankfully it melted enough to get it out and the result was this huge chunk!
The dirt roads that cross the African parks are often used by wildlife as a easier, more convenient way of getting from A to B. Here, a male ostrich decides he has right of way over our safari vehicle. Tarangire National Park, Tanzania.

This was my last outing with my old, faithful Canon 400D (now upgraded to a Canon 7D). It is a bit too bashed about to sell, so I may keep it for riskier photo shoots :)

I feel blocked again... no ideas for anything (not just photography but all the stuff I use to do outside office)... just work, eat, sleep routine (with some movies from time to time)... and that sensation I would like to be doing something else but nothing comes... not that nice... and this uninspiring picture was all I could do with all those feelings...
