Block A at Bletchley Park, with block B behind the trees to the right, seen over the lake. This now houses a museum.

Granite Blocks
Reclaimed bridge and foundation blocks reclaimed from old New England bridge abutments and now defunct foundations in and around the Boston area.
Appearance:
Most of the block material we reclaim originates from the quarries of Cape Ann, MA. Quincy granite is also evident especially in some of the Boston block we reclaimed. Much of this material was quarried in the late 1800’s – early 1900’s. These blocks have a century of aging and weathering. Some in the water, some out… for a real antique look!
Size:
• Always depends on our current bridge reclamation project.
• As for our foundation block inventory – it’s almost always dimensional material and multi sized
• Call for current sizes and availability
Use:
• Retaining wall/seawall block material
• Bench pieces
• Columns for entryways and gates
• Light posts
• Vertical pieces for archways
Sold:
By the pieces, the linear foot and by the ton.
On Saturday, July 8, 2017, the FDNY celebrated its first summer Block Party at Station 52 in Queens.
I guess Ken Block has relatives on my street cause his daily is parked here.
It feels kind of weird to know that this is 1 of 2 Euro spec Ford Focus RS's in the US.
(I think)
People walked by while I was taking a shot during the day and thought I was weird. I was just thinking to myself, "only car people would appreciate this."
People can say what they want about Ken Block, but he does have a good choice as a daily.
the Shore Points Roller Derby team ( black) blocks and tries to bump the star helmet opponent from the Greater Toronto Roller Derby team. Fun Night
The walk-in shower in the master bath features a glass block wall with a 90-degree return so no shower door is needed. It looks beautiful and is very functional.
Kaitlyn carried the stepstool into the kitchen, then carried each of the blocks from the playroom, and made this tower.

I'm planning this quilt to be very soft, in pastel aqua, grays and white, with small bits of subtle color or texture.

My experimentation with tilt-shift iPhoneography. Photo was taken with ProCamera and edited with DigitalFocus.
They're not Lego blocks, but this otherwise looks pretty cool. They were sitting out on the table to dry and I took a number of shots, both to play with color, and to play with my tripod and various exposures.
