Spring blizzard gives way to the sunshine and the nature can't wait to show off its freshly coated beauty.

Taken with a long exposure at night, snowflakes are illuminated by a lamppost during a strong winter storm. In addition to snowing heavily throughout the night, there were very strong winds, which resulted in the illuminated snowflakes looking like a chaotic whirlwind of sparks.

It was so cool, last year when the blizzard came to our place! It was pretty much the only snow in many years including this one. All the sudden snow everywhere, white darkness, creepy wind noises, official warnings to not go outside. Of course I went there with a camera. Just a quick walk in the neighborhood, it was bloody cold, but what a cool mysterious memory!
Winter arrived in very unusual way to where I live. A blizzard, look at that! Well, a baby one, only one day of snowing and temperatures really not that low. But lovely white darkness, and a lot of snow. Haven't seen that in maybe ten years. Did I go outside to shoot despite of official warning and recommendations to stay home? Of course! Very, very, very cool photoshoot...
This is taken around 5pm, two days after the Blizzard 2016. We got over 60cm snow and there are still lots streets waiting for the snow plows.
Just trying my hand at miniatures and snow. This is one of my Dad's toy cars, it's a 1953 Sunbeam Talbot. He also has a life size one too that he has recently reconditioned, the love of his life (after my Mum of course!)
