Model on Mecabricks: mecabricks.com/en/models/QeDvVJb0vBR
Some news: I'm planning several MOC's connected to mining in space. It can be called Astromining project. Here is the first one. Small starship with two pilots and many different mineral scaners. And the bad one: I've got some troubles with my PC so renders will be not so good for some time.
Where am I from? Colax. Ordinary mining colony. There are dozens of them. Not a perfect place, but it could be worse. Atmosphere is inert, put pressure is normal. So oxygen mask is your best friend there. It’s quite cool place: 10-15C at day, just above zero at night. Rocks, sand and dust everywhere. And iron ore. Goode one. It’s only reason for colony to exist. Ore is quite unique; it’s very reach and doesn’t need much refining. The whole subsector gets iron from here. Plus a bit of extra rare metals. Colax isn’t old colony, everything works perfect. Most of industrial processes are automated. So there are not many workers. It will change in future when machines will start to break. More workers to support equipment, more equipment to support life of workers. You understand. But now it’s fine. Mines are in good condition, metal factory too. Sometimes some issues happen in spaceport, but it is normal. Usually it’s quite there, only a few shuttles arrive per week. But when a large cargo ship appears on orbit, it’s total mess. Such ships can’t land due to their size, so small orbital shuttles are used. Lots of them. But number of landing pads is limited. Spaceport works non-stop for several days to process cargo. And if only somebody mixes up container…
Mando fuels up.
Good fun project to work on.
Thanks to Polygon Runway for the tutorial and inspiration.

The real-life aircraft has the capacity to hold up to 28 troops, length of 19.43m (63 ft 9 in), a wingspan of 29.11m (95 ft 0 in), and a height of 5.18m (17 ft 0 in). The crew consist of four individuals (radio operator, navigator, co-pilot and pilot). the US as well as other nations involved with lend-lease (the UK, Soviet Union etc) used these aircraft during World War II, even axis powers such as Germany and Japan had variants of the aircraft through obtaining them prior to the war.
Many countries still use this aircraft and its variants to this day.

The LEGO model (MOC)
This project took a good couple months to design in stud.io, mainly due to the limitations of olive green and the availability; I personally try to make sure my models use parts that only exist in high enough quantities while ensuring that the model is stable enough in case the model is made in real life.
The scale I have used in this model is 1:40th.

Hey, Rico, I’ve heard you are still chilling on LV-1136. Give up that damned frozen world and join us! Can you believe? Now we have our own salvage ship. Jolly Reaper. And I’m a navigator here. Do you remember that crash on LV-1287? New Qadesh. Olimp class freighter collided into orbital cargo transfer station. Lots of dead bodies, lots of debris. Those bastards from the Transport Alliance didn’t admitted it was their ship. Station was completely ruined, but the ship was repaired and modified. Yes, now it’s a salvage ship. And it belongs to the Outer Worlds. Yes, it’s huge. Damn biggest salvage ship, as I know. You should join us as soon as possible. We are making real money. Last time we sold almost all systems of abandoned freighter. Other salvagers can take only couple of valuable parts. We took almost everything. And most of our crew looted some small stuff for themselves. You know, some personal thing of dead ship’s crew, lots of gadgets, displays, wires. Everything you can sell personally to other people, not to the companies. But I don’t care about that. Abandoned ship is dangerous place and I’m a bit coward. However, you are reckless one. So you can try to find something valuable. You told you’ve given up job on freighters. You were tired and bored of similar flights. And we always have something different! And crew is fine. There is always somebody to talk or drink with. Don’t wait. Nowadays Jolly Reaper is the only such ship in this sector. And there is still some loot here. But everything may change…
Serious rebuild of an old model. First successful attempt to fit minifigure into quite compact mech.
I decided to make a ww1 Saint chamond tank, this one in particular is based on the very early versions of the tank with the flat roof.
even though I picked a more basic variant shape wize, i decided to go extra fancy with the camouflage.
