The second in the series of mechs for the re-imagined space factions from CMF wave 26! This one was super fun, replicating the bio-mechanical nature of the figure. I wanted to capture the feel of a creature creating a suit of armor plates to protect itself. I think the legs capture that the best. One more to come :)

A powerful interceptor specialized in capital ships deterrence. Equipped with a quad plasma cannon and 2 rapid fire laser guns.
"Purple spaceman, this is Blacktron squad βτ-22 ! Blacktron leadership has declared coloured space suits illegal ! Accept to dye your space suit black or you will be arrested ! I guarantee you, you do not want to end up like the Teal spaceman ! We are not kidding, and it is absolutely not because we are jealous of your fabulous outfits !"
So I had this silly idea of Blacktron being some sort of fashion police that enforces very strict laws when it comes to space suits colours. While the story surrounding it is absolutely ludicrous, the model itself has been designed very seriously, and comes with several play features :
• Front missiles launchers
• Removable turret and antenna (can be placed on the rover or the speeder)
• Suit decoloration chamber storage compartment in the back, with a button to eject the chamber
• Weapons and antenna storage compartments on each side, with foldable ladders
I tried to build a model that was as fun and playable as possible, and also that looks awesome !

A ship designed for intercepting and capturing targets of interest to the Blacktron Empire. This build was inspired by the most recent Blacktron Bounty Hunter minifig.
Welcome to my Blacktron Renegade redux! You can definitely pick out the official Blacktron Cruiser GWP in my design because it is made from 1 blended with another recent set - an unusual and equally new one in fact; the Technic Bugatti Bolide 42151.
My design uses pieces only from these two sets and I am considering making instructions if the reactions are positive.

Just like the original Renegade, my version uses the modular connection pieces so that the front cockpit pieces can detach and reform into new vehicles with the rear engines. Additionally, the rear area has a spoiler and ramp system that opens to allow loading and egress of small wheeled vehicles. This renegade doesn't have much space for passengers, but can fit one pilot, one copilot droid, another droid pilot on the weapons platform, and finally whatever the vehicle in the cargo hold can carry (in this case one spaceman).
Its been almost exactly five years since I posted a new MOC, but my dark age is officially over. I've got plenty of new models ready to post in the coming weeks.

Blacktron tracked rover
Heavy terrain vehicle armed with basic laser canons. In cockpit are two crew members - driver and shooter. There is a compartment for small flyer in the rear.
Soon Jaune encounters another spaceman, who seems to be in a bit of a hurry.
Mister, that sure is a fancy Rover you have there!

Spotting a Blacktron walker while out on a scouting mission Doctor Kelvin did not hesitate and used her trusty chainsaw to cut a hole underneath the beast's belly to enable lobbing in a demolition charge to take it out.

Hunter/killer ship used to track down M-Tron ships by homing in on their comms signals. Fits a minifig in a prone position.
I've been working on this all week and looking at it so long I can't tell if it's good or not. Like when you say a word over and over again and it starts sounding strange, strange, strange, strange, strange,,,
So I recently decided to convert the XL-15 spaceship from the film "Lightyear" into original Blacktron colors. The blue became yellow, and white was turned to black, with all the trans-green changed to trans-red. I added laser blasters under the wings where some technic pins are and put a different control tile in the cockpit. I am still missing six yellow 1 x 1 quarter circle tiles on the wings for the Blacktron logo, but they (and the pilot figure) should be here soon. I was thinking about building a second one, but then again, getting some of the parts from Bricklink was a total pain due to low quantities in the needed color. (I'm talking about you, 3 x 3 wedge plate in yellow!)
Alright, yesterday I posted a brick-built Blacktron signa too early. I thought that version was good enough, but no. This is it.

Quadrax drones are a commonly used by Blacktron heavy weapons squads for fire support. Their armored carapace makes them nearly invulnerable to small arms fire, and their twin autocannons can lay down a devastating spray of covering fire.

Due to increased galactic security and scare resources, Blacktron are searching salvage yards and stealing old hardware from museums. One such find was an old Star Fleet Voyager, which actually predates the formation of Blacktron (seen here in her glory days).
Dubbed "Lurker", this old model 6929 has been converted into an electronic warfare platform. Due to the mission profile of long loiter-time, the old fossil's slow speed is not a great handicap, given adequate escort protection.
Guard postings at space museums have since been tripled.
The Blacktron guy has a turmeric stained visor and a little kraggle going on. The M:Tron guy’s visor was supposed to come out transparent neon green with the use of pipe leak dye. It didn’t work at all, however I managed to stain a ceramic bowl in the process. The panel on the M:Tron vehicle is just a misprint. The Futuron vehicle has classic space stickers. They are made by an AFOL named Richard Roebuck in the UK and they are pretty decent. The tiles on the Blacktron vehicle are printed by a third party company. You can find them on eBay.
The hull design have Blacktron engineers designed as modern warships from the 21 century. To give the lowest possible Siluette for the radar. Equipped with two water turbines, the ship is to reach up to 214 knots capable of a speed.
As little cannon a twin railgun with 15.4 mm is used. The main armament consists of 10 medium-range missiles that can be fired from two launchers. As an occupying only 3 man are needed. a pilot, a weapons tactician and a technician.
