Lotspeich 5th grade students learning about Blacksmithing from Mr. Marvin Kuhn, a science teacher from Indiana who has also been a blacksmith for 30 years.
Mr. Kuhn has been coming to Lotspeich since the late 80's.

Katman Bazaar is a small block located in the Old city of Kashgar in the Xinjiang province of China. The Uyghur blacksmiths have worked in these quarters for hundreds of years. Like most parts of the ancient Kashgar, Katman Bazaar is now under constant danger of being demolished for the sake of urban development supported by the Chinese government.

My great-uncle Ragnar used to make things here. You could still see a bunch of tools, an anvil, and a giant oven inside.
